It is difficult to discuss the details of this car with you. This is a New JFK Assassination Issue. You admit to No Longer doing ANY JFK Assassination Research. You have elected to turn yourself into a JFK Assassination Caveman.

I don't need to do any research. I figured out the JFKA a long time ago. Those of us who have wonder why other people seem stumped by it.

\  To test the location of the car either parked along the south (or north) curb of the Elm Extension, as seen in the Wiegman film, I plotted Wiegman’s position with test south curb versus north curb cars on a DP map. The plot showed the north curb car about twice the distance from the camera compared to a south curb car. Then for equal sized cars the north curb car would appear about one half the size of the south curb car to Wiegman’s camera.  I made a quick 3D view animation to demonstrate this and added a 5.5’ black suit man for comparison. It looks to me that the Wiegman car is nearer to the south curb. Note that I gave the test cars a steel-blue color (not white) for the 3D animation for modeling development use.

For 62 years there has been a Smokescreen covering up this "getaway" car. Previously, the Wiegman Film that was available to the masses looked like something filmed inside a "House Of Mirrors". These "House Of Mirrors" images was foisted on the public because the Wiegman Film has always been a "smoking gun".  Advanced technology has Now removed these intentionally obscured images that previously shrouded the Wiegman Film. Now, we can see that this "getaway" car is CLEARLY NOT on the Wiegman Film. 20 seconds later, Couch and Darnell filmed this "getaway" car parked alongside the Island, just outside of the "wide open" Huge Gates. The JFK Assassination Films ALL need to be re-examined and compared to each other. Just as I did with the Wiegman Film vs Couch Film vs Darnell Film.
I am still waiting for the last 1/2 of the Darnell Film to be released in High Definition. I believe that will reveal another "smoking gun" with respect to the Bogus Motorcycle Cop moving across the railroad yard and toward/down the Elm St Extension.

Tom,
The car was placed consistent with the Robert Hughes film of the TSBD doorway at about 12:40. I could be a few inches off, but not feet.

The “light-colored car,” if real, would be parked lengthwise in front of the Huge Gates. A car was not parked  there, but further east in the Martin film of the Euins/Harkness scene. There is no car parked there in the Wiegman film. No red tail light or car is there.  We are only seeing the Bonneville in Wiegman. Some of the “features” on the car in the gap are due to shadows from the Live Oak Tree.

James

What we see above is a Hughes Film Still Frame. That still frame gives us a partial view of the "getaway" car parked alongside the Island. If you look VERY CLOSELY at the still frame above, you can see a DECAL stuck to the (R) inside of the windshield. We were recently granted access to a high definition copy of the Hughes Film. Among many other questions surrounding this "getaway" car, that DECAL is currently under intense scrutiny.

There is only a sliver of the Island between that Traffic Signal Pole and the Elm St Extension. Fedora Man is standing very close to this Traffic Signal Pole. What we are seeing through his legs is the surface street of the Elm St Extension. Why are we able to see the Elm St Extension surface street behind Fedora Man? Because the "getaway" has not yet pulled up alongside the Island and parked in the "NO PARKING At Any Time" Zone. Not Yet!

Hi James, excellent work as always. Here’s a crop from a very clear photo by William Allen taken on 11/22/63 during the three tramps walk through Dealey Plaza. Royell claims the car in question didn’t move at all before the Allen photo was taken. I have drawn yellow arrows pointing at the rear bumper and taillight. You can line that up with the opening for the large gates and the pole for the highway numbers sign. I believe that Allen’s position was a few feet ENE of Tina Towner’s filming position on the SW corner of Elm & Houston streets. I hope this might help clarify the position of the car.

The 3 Tramps were marched down the Elm St Extension about 2 hrs AFTER the kill shot. What this Allen Photo makes clear is that the DPD are NOW ALL OVER this abandoned "getaway" car.(1) A DPD Motorcycle is parked behind it and preventing it from backing up, (2) there is a DPD Cop Car facing it bumper-to-bumper from the front, and (3) a uniformed DPD Officer is standing directly in front of it with a shotgun pointed skyward. ALL of this law enforcement "attention" being mere feet from the recovered carcano rifle, the sniper's nest, and the "wide open" Huge Gates. At this point in time on 11/22/63, the DPD would not be dedicating this coordinated "effort" to a 1958 run-of-the-mill auto was simply parked in a "NO PARKING At Any Time" zone. This was a now abandoned "getaway" car and the DPD knew it.

If the DPD knew that, why didn't they impound it?

Do You know for a Fact that this car was Not Impounded?  Please inform this Forum as to what has led you to claim this car was Not Impounded.
