Anybody who might be wondering why the JFK assassination research community exists in such a sad state need look no farther than Jake Maxwell's "analysis" in this thread. It boggles my mind that any intelligent person would believe Abraham Zapruder, an elderly dress manufacturer who had such balance issues that his assistant had to hold him steady while he filmed, was part of the assassination conspiracy team and was using a walkie-talkie in Dealey Plaza. Give me a break.

You'd be better off criticizing the visual analysis of there being a walkie talkie vs tabbing Zapruder as being "elderly". Zapruder was 58 yrs old on 11/22/63.

Really? That's the hill you're going to die on here rather than Jake Maxwell's ludicrous claims about umpteen Dealey Plaza conspirators? An unsteady 58-year-old man could certainly be construed as "elderly" in comparison to the many other young men and women standing near him.

When the nation’s top law enforcement officer - FBI Director J. Edgar Hoover - dictates a memo just hours after the assassination expressing concern about public perception and emphasizing the need to convince the public that Oswald was the lone assassin, we can be absolutely certain he had no intention of pursuing any other possible - or probable - assassination scenario.
That includes the likelihood, indicated by photographic evidence, that Abraham Zapruder might have been part of a larger plot.

In Hoover’s own words:
“The thing I am concerned about, and so is [Deputy Attorney General] Mr. Katzenbach, is having something issued so we can convince the public that Oswald is the real assassin.”

Besides "Harvey and Lee," this is without a doubt the most ridiculous theory I have ever seen put forward about the Kennedy assassination. Congratulations to Jake Maxwell for entering the Hall of Shame.

The quotations he is now including with his "image enhancements" are indicative of improvement. An ugly duckling does turn into a swan over time. Don't throw this baby out with the bath water just yet.

The quote by FBI Director, J. Edgar Hoover, should actually shut down all debate regarding whether or not all leads and possible assassination scenarios were investigated...

The Forum Gallery of photos has the best image of Willis #5 that might be available...

It clearly shows the image of a face (or two)... And yeah... all along we thought we were looking at Sitzman's arm and elbow...

Is this Zapruder? If so, then why is he in this location in the photo (perhaps a result of purposeful cover-up distortion)... and he obviously has no camera... maybe a scope...

If not Zapruder, then who is it?

(The second panel shows increased contrast and increased brightness...)

Here's the image turned back into shape...
and you can even see the end of what looks like a barrel... or a scope...
