Considering historical precedent for exhuming the remains of a former US President,
and the examination of those remains comprising this precedent being much more
vague and broader in scope than the long standing, specific public interest in just
two small areas of a wrist and a thigh of the late John Connolly, how is this inquiry unreasonable

....FBI officials in Dallas had recommended that an attempt be made to recover the evidence and settle a long-standing controversy about whether Connally was hit by the same bullet that wounded President John F. Kennedy on Nov. 22, 1963, just before Kennedy was killed by another bullet that tore into his skull.
Dallas FBI agent Oliver B. Revell said he feared that a barrage of lawsuits would be discomfiting to the Connally family in the years ahead unless the fragments were recovered. "We hate to intrude into the family's grief," Revell said a few hours before the final graveside ceremonies, "but it's going to happen sooner or later. I'm afraid the family is going to be harassed on this until it's resolved."
The "single bullet" or "magic bullet" theory was crucial to the Warren Commission's findings that Lee Harvey Oswald, acting alone, killed the president and wounded Connally as the two men rode together in a motorcade through downtown Dallas.

Why would anyone believe another bite of the apple would satisfy them? Why?
I haven't given up on the midterms. I'm old enough to remember 2022 that was supposed to be a red wave. It turned into a red trickle. The same could happen with the Dems. The public is upset about high prices which may or may not continue to November. If it does, there could be a wipeout. If not, the GOP will probably hold the Senate and still have an outside chance to hold the House. Holding the Senate is more important because it will allow Trump to get his appointments confirmed, especially if a SCOTUS seat or two opens up. The voters are pissed at the GOP but that doesn't automatically mean they will turn to the Dems. Their approval rating is only around 20%. What worries me is there is a segment of the GOP base that doesn't show up when he's not on the ballot.

I like Rubio too and if he's the GOP nominee for POTUS in 2028, I will gladly vote for him. I think the nomination is J. D. Vance's to lose. A lot can happen between now and the early primaries and caucuses in 2028, but I expect Vance to be the nominee. Rubio would make a great #2.
There are no Democrats who I would even consider voting for in 2028. The Democrat Party has become so toxic with their embracing of the Marxist agenda that I won't consider anybody who is willing to put a D next to their name. I like John Fetterman but he isn't going to be on the national ticket and I live in the neighboring state of Ohio so I can't vote for him anyway. If he is going to remain in the Senate, he will have to switch parties because he will be primaried by the Democrats. Arlen Specter made that move in the oppositive direction. There is one other Democrat I like because he shows some common sense and the courage to call out the far left but I can't imagine him gaining any traction even if he does choose to run. That would be Stephen A. Smith who is a long shot to run and end even longer shot to win the nomination. The Commies are now controlling the primary process in the Democrat Party and not just on the coasts. I hope the Dems nominate AOC. It might be enough to make me believe there is a God.

The nonprofit Assassination Archives and Research Center urged Attorney General Janet Reno on Wednesday to secure the fragments and compare them, using neutron activation analysis and other sophisticated tests, with the nearly intact bullet the Warren Commission said the pieces came from. The bullet was found on a hospital stretcher and was believed to have dropped out of Connally's thigh.
"If the family would agree and we can examine those under current technology," Revell said, "we could do one of two things. We could say, 'Yes, indeed, this was the bullet {that hit both men} and there is no basis for saying there were additional shots. But if the mass and metallurgy don't match, we've got a different ballgame."...

I seriously doubt Connally's body will ever be exhumed, at least not in our lifetime. If the body were exhumed and the fragment in his chest and the fragment in his thigh turned out to be more material than is missing from CE 399, as would surely be the case, that would be one more nail in the SBT's coffin. Yet, even then, I'd bet money that some SBT believers would float some utterly silly excuse for not accepting such cold, hard evidence.
Just look at how SBT believers have simply refused to face other cold, hard facts that refute the SBT:

-- the fact that Specter's bunched-clothing theory is undeniably refuted by the photographic evidence.
-- the fact that there's no bullet hole through the tie and no nick on the tie knot's left edge.

The SBT is the only plausible explanation for JFK's non-fatal wounds and all of JBC's wounds ever offered. You have never even attempted an alternative explanation because you know it would get shredded in a heartbeat. But don't feel bad. In over six decades no CT has been able to do that.
