I'd never heard that quote from Hemingway but I love it. I suppose that could apply to many human endeavors.
I guess I'm as well as could be expected for someone who is 74 soon to be 75. Typical aging problems. I've been dealing with a pinched never the past week and my prostate acts as if it is older than I am. Just went to the doctor today for wet AMD but luckily it's in its early stages and is very treatable at this point.
A while back, I saw a table that someone born in 1951 had a life expectancy of 72 years so I'm already 2 years ahead of the game. I feel like I'm playing with house money the rest of the way.
