You would have to ask Dan Rather, but I believe Kellerman testified or wrote in a report that he radioed the DPD lead car or some-such thing right away.

Are you going to hold it against Rather for describing the device as a "telephone" rather than a "radio microphone"?

     This is what happens when alleged Inaccurate Information is simply repeated. YOU repeated what Rather reported. This is why someone making a Nationwide/Worldwide Broadcast has a very high bar/standard to meet. Viewing the Zapruder Film on the weekend of the JFK Assassination was No Joke. Rather knew the gravity of his Seeing/Reporting what was on the Zapruder Film. He was even intro'd by Walter Cronkite for his CBS NEWS TV Report. This alone signaled the importance of the Rather Zapruder Film Report. Rather "inaccurately" reporting over several telecasts what he viewed on the Z Film and then his being rewarded with a promotion to the heralded Walter Cronkite CBS News Anchor position IS a joke. Rather was rewarded for putting a sock in his seeing the JFK Limo turning onto Elm St and his seeing Gov Connally being "hit" in the chest when Connally turned around and was facing the TSBD. The Current Zapruder Film NOT showing these 2 Events is Proof that it has been altered.

For QUITE a while no one KNEW that Rather was so wrong about so MUCH of what he'd thought he'd seen in his ONE viewing of the traumatic and CONFUSING clip.

Everybody HAD to take his word for IT.

Question: Why did he ADMIT years later that he'd made SO many mistakes in his RECOUNTING of what he'd THOUGHT he'd seen to The National Audience?

Did the evil, evil Deep State FORCE him to say THAT?

REGARDING his reporting that he’d SEEN in the Zapruder clip a Secret Service AGENT (Kellerman) holding a RADIO MIC as the limo sped OFF, isn't it LOGICAL to assume that the CLIP Rather watched was SHARPER than the copies ANY of US have watched, and that THAT simple fact WOULD explain how he at LEAST got THAT part right?

Dan Rather told The National Audience that the limo had turned onto Elm Street from Houston Street, that both JFK had been shot, that Jackie had crawled onto the trunk, and that Clint Hill had pushed her back. That's about all he got right.

Gerald Ford raised the location of the entry wound so it would more closely match the measurements that Boswell had taken and which Humes had written down (or was it the other way around?).

Arlen Specter's "Single Bullet Theory" was correct.

  The Autopsy Photo of the JFK Back Wound is nowhere close to the "base of the neck". But like the Zapruder Film,Rep. Ford knew the autopsy photos would Not become public for decades. That AUTOPSY photo's being so MISLEADING for so many tinfoil-hat CTs is probably DUE to the fact THAT, as Dr. Humes TESTIFIED, JFK had a "very well-developed SET of muscles in his THORACO [i.e., thorax and chest] and SHOULDER girdle," and the FACT that RIGOR MORTIS had set IN by the time the photo was TAKEN.
