Charles Hester's testimony...

Charles Hester, who is seen in Zapruder's pre-motorcade film, sitting with his wife, who is on a park bench in Dealey Plaza, says the following in his testimony:

"My wife, Beatrice, and I were sitting on the grass on the slope on Elm Street where the park is located. When President Kennedy's car got almost down to the underpass, I heard two shots ring out."

Does Willis #5 contradict Hester's testimony? It looks like he was sitting on the park bench, which had been moved from the Pergola...

If he had been on trial, it seems he would have perjured himself...

Here's Willis #5... (Revised) Does the arrow show Hester sitting on the bench only seconds before the fatal shot?

Did anyone ever challenge Hester on his "false" testimony?

Here's an image of Hester's full testimony... I wonder if he was following a "script" and just saying what he was supposed to say... certainly not aware that photo and film would show him on the bench (this is not a confirmed fact)...

(Revised) He says he saw the shooting... How could he have seen the shooting if (as he says) the fatal shot or shots (two) were fired when Kennedy's limo was almost to the overpass (underpass) whether he was on the grass or perhaps on the bench??

Both Hester's were interviewed by FBI Agents on 11/24/63. The Agents filed reports on the Hester interviews. The Hester's these Agents interviewed claimed to be on the OTHER SIDE (S) SIDE OF ELM ST. when 2 Shots were fired. I have always found it strange on the Bell Film, we see Both Zapruder and Sitzman after they had just climbed down from the Zapruder Perch. The Hester's are on the ground to their immediate (L), yet neither Sitzman or Zapruder check to see if the Hester's there on the ground are OK. Yet, Zapruder was Filming Sitzman, and the Hester's only minutes before seeing the Hester's on the ground there after shots were fired? Mrs Hester and Sitzman both worked for Zapruder too. On top of ALL of this, neither Zapruder or Sitzman EVER mentioned seeing the Hester's on the ground only seconds after the JFK Kill Shot. ALL of this just does Not add up. Not even close.

About the only thing correct about Hester's testimony is that he had a wife named Beatrice... and I wouldn't bet too much on that!

His testimony ought to be closely examined by an attorney... even a junior attorney should get this right. He sounds like he is trying to say what he thinks he's supposed to say...

(Revised) AND... didn't he have a camera on site (this is not confirmed, but has been suggested)? What was the purpose of that? Did he take any photos? Where are they? Come on junior attorney, probe him on that...

(Revised) OR... maybe (if he had a camera) the camera was just a prop, so he could (perhaps) sit on the bench (if that is Hester on the bench), provide some cover for the nefarious, and provide false testimony if needed... like, "No, we were sitting there... and didn't see anyone..."
Yeah... right...

   (1) WHO has Ever ID'd the man sitting on the bench in Wills 5 as being Mr Hester?

   (2) WHY do you think that Mr Hester might have had a camera with him?

I recall reading years ago that Hester had a camera and questions about whether or not he used it… It looks like he might be holding it in one hand in Zapruder… hanging down toward the ground. That these two (one walking away from bench) are the Hester’s is also from recall…

Nonetheless, Hester’s testimony from the bench or grass, regarding the location of the limo when shots were fired, is very suspect..

This image of Hester might suggest a camera...
