You believe the JFK Limo was 7 seconds behind those 3 Lead Motorcycles?

Storing,

How many seconds do you think (sic) the limo was behind those three motorcycles?

For your information, there were seven groupings of police motorcycles in the motorcade. In order of appearance they were:

1. ADVANCE MOTORCYCLES  (Bellah, McBride and Garrick; see below)

2. LEAD MOTORCYCLES  (Grey, Brewer, Freeman, Lumpkin and Ellis)

3. PRESIDENTIAL MOTORCYCLES  (Martin, Hargis, Cheney, Jackson)

4. FORWARD MID MOTORCADE MOTORCYCLES  (McLain, Baker)

5. MID MOTORCADE MOTORCYCLES  (Courson, Haygood)

6. REAR MID MOTORCADE MOTORCYCLES  (Smart, Dale)

7. REAR POLICE MOTORCYCLE  (Philips, Davenport)

Regarding the three motorcycles that can be seen turning onto Elm Street at the beginning of the Zapruder film, this is what Penn Jones, Jr., wrote:

"Three 2-wheel motorcycle officers, Sergeant S. Q. Bellah (2219 Wilbur St., Dallas), J. B. Garrick, (1011 East Hobson St, Dallas) and G. C. McBride (9019 Anaconda Drive, Pleasant Grove), were riding as advance escort three or four blocks ahead of the motorcade. Two of them, Garrick and McBride, were scheduled to wait somewhere in the vicinity of the triple underpass for the motorcade to get ahead of them onto Stemmons in order that they could fall in behind and prevent traffic from the rear from overtaking the motorcade."

Zapruder filmed those three motorcycles as they turned onto Elm Street and passed by him, and then, realizing that there was a gap in the motorcade behind them, switched off his camera in order to save film and kept it turned off for seven seconds as he watched the group of four LEAD MOTORCYCLES (comprised of Officers Grey, Brewer, Freeman and Ellis) and the LEAD CAR (containing Curry, Lawson, Decker and Sorrels) turn onto Elm Street and pass by him.

Then, when he finally saw the limo turn onto Elm Street, straighten out, and start heading straight towards him, Zapruder turned his camera back on and resumed filming at what we call Z-133.

EDIT: Stike the above two sentences sentence and replace them with Storing-friendly this:

"Zapruder was filming the intersection of Houston Street and Elm Street as the three "Advance" (i.e., not the four "Lead") motorcycles turned onto Elm Street, as they travelled towards him down Elm Street, and as one of them -- the one closest to the other side of the street -- apparently began to pass by him, and then, in order to save precious film, he turned his gosh-darned camera off for seven seconds (gasp . . . thereby NOT filming the four Lead Motorcycles or the one Lead Car as they turned onto Elm Street and travelled down it towards him and PASSED BY HIM) until he saw, with his very own eyes, the limo coming straight towards him down Elm Street, and he turned his camera back on and resumed filming."

Without knowing it, YOU have just brought an additional issue to light with the Current Zapruder Film. You quote Penn Jones, "Zapruder filmed those 3 motorcycles as they turned onto Elm St and PASSED BY HIM......". The Current Zapruder Film does Not show those 3 motorcycles "...PASSED BY HIM".  If Zapruder did film the 3 motorcycles after they "...PASSED BY HIM", he also possibly filmed the Black Dog Man. Willis 5 showing the Black Dog Man was snapped only seconds later.

Storing,

Take some deep breaths.

In through the nose . . . . . out through the mouth.

Question: Did I quote Penn Jones' saying that, or did I say that?

Answer: No, I didn't say Jones had said that.

I said that, Storing.

So why are you misquoting my actual quote of him?

You do know what quotation marks are, don't you?

Didn't you notice how I'd put them around what Jones had written?

Regarding what I (i.e., not Jones) said so "falsely," what if I change it to: "Zapruder was filming the intersection of Houston Street and Elm Street as the three "Advance" (i.e., not the four "Lead") motorcycles turned onto Elm Street, as they travelled towards him down Elm Street, and as one of them -- the one closest to the other side of the street -- apparently began to pass by him, and then, in order to save precious film, he turned his gosh-darned camera off for seven seconds (gasp . . . thereby NOT filming the four Lead Motorcycles or the one Lead Car as they turned onto Elm Street and travelled down it towards him and PASSED BY HIM) until he saw, with his very own eyes, the limo coming straight towards him down Elm Street, and he turned his camera back on and resumed filming."

Would that work for you?

You got it Wrong.

I got what wrong, Storing?

Do you still deny that Zapruder stopped filming for seven seconds?

So you're sticking with that "7 seconds" gap? You need to back your truck up and look at the film footage of the Motorcade as it came down Main St approaching Houston St. "What's past is prologue".
