MAGA voters are effectively a cult. Trump was right. He could shoot a guy on 5th avenue and you still would support him.

On the otherhand, the Independent and Swing voters who backed Trump in 2024 are becoming more vocally angry about his policies. Polls show steep declines in support for Trump among Independents.

Trump is doing the things that he was elected to do.  Closing the border, promoting energy independence, creating jobs, and cutting taxes.  If someone is a leftist who hated Trump before the election, they would be against him if he invented a cure for cancer.  The media has effectively brainwashed those types.  There is no "cult" unless it is those who suffer from TDS.  Every politician with the potential exception of Biden has supporters.   Trump is no different except for the fact that he follows up promises with actions.  Many may disagree with those actions but he ran on an agenda that got him elected.  That is how democracy is supposed to work.  The establishment can't handle it because they make promises, then never act on them.  Their sole objective is to enrich themselves and stay in power.  Trump has stomped that model for governing like Godzilla stomped Tokyo.

Biden left us 20 million or more illegal aliens.  Some of whom are hardened criminals or gang members.  The others of whom we will pay for housing, education and health care for decades.  He left us unresolved wars that have cost the American taxpayer hundreds of billions.  He left record inflation and gas prices.  His administration lied and covered up for his cognitive issues.  His family enriched themselves with corruption and bribery for decades.  He may be the single worst president in history.  That's why he and Kacklin Kamala were swept out of office.   The boogeyman story about the tariffs isn't working.  Other countries have had tariffs on American goods for decades.  These are many of the same countries for whom we have effectively paid for their national defense.  Like Canada and Japan.  The tariffs have worked out well for them.

Imagine quibbling over whether Old Joe (or whoever was in charge) let in 10 million or 20 million illegal aliens.  Unreal.  No wonder Dems were swept out of the House, Senate, and WH.  The cost will burden generations of Americans.  No one who came here illegally is innocent.  They have committed a federal crime.  The Trump administration has offered to provide them with a flight back to their own country. 

There's no "direct" evidence that Biden committed a crime?  LOL.  Every member of his crime family is a multi-millionaire despite having no apparent business or skill to market except influence peddling.  His crime family was corrupt to the core.  Someone paid Hunter's $1.4 million-dollar unpaid tax bill.  Have you ever heard of anyone paying one and half million dollars to pay the taxes of another person and not expecting anything in return?  Would that have happened if his father was not the president?  Do you know anyone who was paid in diamonds from foreign countries?  By his own admission, Hunter kicked back ten percent of the bribes to the "big guy."  The corruption was unreal and open.  Protected by the corrupt DOJ.

Tariffs have certainly helped other countries rip off the US for decades thanks to the failed establishment policies of presidents like Clinton and Obama.  It has worked for them.  Trump is just trying to even the playing field.  Why are leftists so desperate for America to fail?  You would rather see the American economy collapse than acknowledge that Trump knew what he is doing?

I completely disagree.  Beating the establishment at its own game doesn't make him part of the establishment.  It just means he overcame tremendous odds and the most powerful forces in the world including the biased media and corrupt justice system that did everything in its power to undermine him.  No other person in American history could have withstood that onslaught much less prevailed.  No other such person likely ever will.  The backlash against Trump is a product of the establishment propaganda.  It has brainwashed many people.
