The Epstein problem is bipartisan. It's not as if there aren't a bunch of pictures of Bill and Hillary with Epstein and Maxwell. Other Dems, wealthy Liberals, and foreign heads of state from allied countries like Israel and the UK are mixed up with this stuff too.

So it's possible that Dem elites want to sweep the Epstein stuff under the rug as much as Trump. Nevermind the fact that the DOJ and FBI don't typically just leak classified and court documents and videos to the Press.

That wasn't a "leak". Someone who had access to Trump's tax returns gave them to the Press. Maybe a disgruntled Trump accountant for all we know.

I don't doubt that the Dems did not release any information because prominent libs like Bill Clinton and donors like Bill Gates are implicated.  They would certainly, however, have leaked any information that would have incriminated Trump to stay in power.  They pulled every other dirty trick to do so.

On Trump's taxes, they were lllegally leaked.  The person responsible was convicted.

"On September 29, 2023, federal prosecutors announced they were charging someone with leaking the data from Trump's tax returns while he was a contractor for the IRS from 2018 to 2020. In October Charles E. Littlejohn pleaded guilty to unauthorized disclosure of tax returns and return information."

Fair enough. I still believe the coverup is due to Epstein’s intelligence connections more than anything else.

And both political parties have an interest in not revealing the reasons why JP Morgan would ask Epstein for help in getting a meeting with Netanyahu or why people like Bill Gates continued to associate with Epstein after he became a known sex offender.

Quote
from: Donald Trump on July 20, 2025 @ 8:07 AM ET

"My Poll Numbers within the Republican Party, and MAGA, have gone up, significantly, since the Jeffrey Epstein Hoax was exposed by the Radical Left Democrats and, just plain “troublemakers.” They have hit 90%, 92%, 93%, and 95%, in various polls, and are all Republican Party records. The General Election numbers are my highest, EVER! People like Strong Borders, and all of the many other things I have done. GOD BLESS AMERICA. MAGA! "

Not sure what your point is since Trump's numbers have gone up among Republicans according to CNN.  They didn't like his handling of the Epstein matter but zero percent of respondents indicated that is a major issue.  That is an important issue only among a small circle of conspiracy theorists and media Trump haters.  Trump's numbers have gone up because of his stunning success with the border, gas prices, jobs, and inflation.  Those are the most important issues to most Americans according to the results of the last election.  Trump has worked a miracle to undo the disasters created by Old Joe and Kacklin' Kamala.  What a mess this country would be in if Kacklin' were running the show.

Oh yea, Biden left with strong growth in real GDP, wages, employment, stock market returns, and household net worth.
Unfortunately, he doesn't work here anymore. Meanwhile,  tRump tariffs are expected to dive us into recession.  8/1 Deadline looming - Go TACO !!

MAGA voters are effectively a cult. Trump was right. He could shoot a guy on 5th avenue and you still would support him.

On the otherhand, the Independent and Swing voters who backed Trump in 2024 are becoming more vocally angry about his policies. Polls show steep declines in support for Trump among Independents.
