And for Richard.....the USA per capita death rate is lower than just 9 other countries. These include Andorra and San Marino, whose small population numbers tend to skew their result. Would you really describe that as many given the total number of countries involved, about 200.
The facts are the facts. And do you really think countries like China, Russia, and North Korea accurately reported the number of cases/deaths? Or that places like Africa had the resources to test as many people? And how exactly does a small population "skew" numbers that are reported on a per capita basis? And those countries that have more deaths per capita include, for example, the UK, Belgium, Spain, Sweden, Italy, Brazil, Chile, Peru...
The talking point that Trump was slow to react and that has resulted in an enormous number of deaths is demonstrably false. Fauci estimated in March that there would be between 100-200K deaths with full mitigation. Meaning that is the number of deaths to expect even if every safeguard was taken. That is exactly what has happened. And the record shows dems at that time period encouraging people to get out and go about life as normal.
