President Trump has made more than 20,000 false or misleading claims

...The coronavirus pandemic has spawned a whole new genre of Trump’s falsehoods. The category in just a few months has reached nearly 1,000 claims, more than his tax claims combined. Trump’s false or misleading claims about the impeachment investigation — and the events surrounding it — contributed almost 1,200 entries to the database....
(Insert name of Trump apologist), would it actually hurt you in any way, if you were to pursue a timely, mental and emotional health evaluation? If you are concerned about your medical record, pay in cash and arrange for confidentiality with the health care provider you select to perform the evaluation.
You are motivated to post what you've been posting, in defense of Trump, from very narrow influences. White grievance, AKA racism, or an attraction to the authoritarian. If you disagree, post links to a psychiatrist or psychologist who refutes the professional opinions of Mary Trump, PhD, or of Dr. Bandy X. Lee, M.D.!

....As he himself said even before he won the presidential election, “I could stand in the middle of 5th Avenue and shoot somebody and I wouldn’t lose voters.” Unfortunately for the American people, this wild-sounding claim appears to be truer than not. It should also motivate us to explore the science underlying such peculiar human behavior, so we can learn from it, and potentially inoculate against it.
In all fairness, we should recognize that lying is sadly not uncommon for politicians on both sides of the political aisle, but the frequency and magnitude of the current president’s lies should have us all wondering why they haven’t destroyed his political career, and instead perhaps strengthened it. Similarly, we should be asking why his inflammatory rhetoric and numerous scandals haven’t sunk him. We are talking about a man who was caught on tape saying, “When you’re a star, they let you do it. You can do anything. Grab them by the pussy.” Politically surviving that video is not normal, or anything close to it, and such a revelation would likely have been the end of Barack Obama or George Bush had it surfaced weeks before the election....

Poor Old Joe. Not a good week. The economy is booming, the stock market is soaring, and a vaccine is only months away. Meanwhile every time he opens his mouth it becomes increasingly clear that he has severe dementia. His handlers are in a panic since his cognitive decline is accelerating at an alarming pace. His racist comments this week were bizarre even by Crazy Joe's low standards. And just wait until he selects Kamala Harris or "Benghazi" Rice as his VP. Both are reviled, do nothing establishment figures. Harris in particular is unpopular with African Americans due to her record as a prosecutor. She is one of the most disliked figures in DC. Duplicitous even by DC standards. It's Joe's election to lose - or so we are told by his advocates in the media. And he is doing his best. I honestly think he might not be the candidate in November given his severe mental decline. No way he serves out his term. Imagine President Harris or Benghazi Rice?
Benghazi Rice??
Project much, Richard? It seems fair to observe there is no self-awareness influencing any hesitation to post in defense of Trump. The false equivalence, "whattaboutism" is creepy. For example, both Susan Rice and Hillary Clinton fully cooperated with the partisan political attacks masquerading as legitimate congressional inquiry into the Benghazi controversy. Both testified under oath in front of a hostile, (unhinged) partisan committee majority...

When House Majority Leader Kevin McCarthy (R-Calif.) was asked last week if his comments about the Select Committee on Benghazi played into his decision not to seek election as speaker, he replied, "Well, that wasn't helpful."
The Benghazi comments, as the campaign of Hillary Clinton would like to remind you, linked the existence of the Republican-led committee to Clinton's sagging poll numbers. "Everybody thought Hillary Clinton was unbeatable," McCarthy said to Sean Hannity. "But we put together a Benghazi special committee, a select committee. What are her numbers today? Her numbers are dropping." The implication was that the committee tanked Clinton's numbers and, as Clinton's team would extend the implication, that the committee was designed to do precisely that.

On February 2, 2018, McFarland withdrew her nomination, writing "I have come to this decision reluctantly, because I believe in your mission" in her resignation letter to Trump.[81][82] In response, Trump blamed the Democrats, noting that they "chose to play politics rather than move forward with a qualified nominee for a critically important post" even though Senate Republicans could have approved her nomination unilaterally given their majority, which suggests that some of them may have been hesitant to approve her.[4]
In September 2018 it became known that she had indeed walked back her story to the special prosecutor. The FBI accepted McFarland's contention that she had not misstated factualities intentionally.[83]....

...As part of the outreach, Ms. McFarland wrote, Mr. Flynn would be speaking with the Russian ambassador, Mr. Kislyak, hours after Mr. Obama’s sanctions were announced.
....She also wrote that the sanctions over Russian election meddling were intended to “lure Trump in trap of saying something” in defense of Russia, and were aimed at “discrediting Trump’s victory by saying it was due to Russian interference.”
“If there is a tit-for-tat escalation Trump will have difficulty improving relations with Russia, which has just thrown U.S.A. election to him,” she wrote.....
