I am not sure who resurrected this zombie thread or why but I'd like to thank them. It has been quite entertaining. I love reading the old posts attacking critics of Fauci and the CDC in the early days of the pandemic. We were told to trust the science and we now know the scientists were lying their a**es off to us. The virus was from a lab leak in Wuhan. Almost everything Fauci was telling us publicly was the opposite of what he knew to be true. The lockdown was a huge mistake that we have never recovered from. There was no reason at all for shutting down the schools as the risk to children from Covid was almost nil. States that resisted the draconian measures have been vindicated. Social distancing was completely unnecessary as was shutting down our economy. Herd immunity has brought the virus under control just as it did with the Spanish Flu a century earlier.

I also enjoy the attacks on Trump made during the Biden administration. The TDS crowd thought they were going to bury Trump once and for all with lawfare. I'm sure they were confident his political career was over and it was only a matter of time before he would be behind bars. Four criminal indictments, a conviction, and a bogus civil case failed to derail Trump. He easily won the GOP nomination for a third straight time and the Democrat Party's undemocratic replacing of Biden with Kamala proved disastrous. Kamala began with a 3 point lead over Trump in the polling averages when she was handed the nomination. It only took her 107 days an $1.5 billion dollars to turn that 3 point advantage into a 2 point loss in and an electoral college landslide for Trump in which he won every swing state. Election night in 2024 was almost as entertaining as the one in 2016, although not surprising as Trump's first victory was. It does appear that herd immunity has not been as effective against TDS as it was against Covid. TDS keeps spreading and seems to be getting more virulent. There doesn't seem to be an effective vaccine in the works either.
