Who in their right mind would choose Oswald as a Patsy?

According to a lot of CTs.

1. Oswald liked Kennedy.
2. Oswald was a US agent.
3. Oswald was a poor shot.
4. Oswald didn't own a rifle.
5. Oswald didn't own a revolver.

Knowing the above how can any CT explain why someone would choose Oswald as a Patsy?

Finding a Patsy who fit the above criteria wouldn't be hard to find.

1. Someone who went around hating Kennedy and in Dallas at the time finding a hater wouldn't be difficult.
2. Why pick someone who has an attachment to the US government, that's just asking for trouble.
3. And again, you pick someone who had an excellent military firearms record or was well known at rifle ranges because you are trying to sell what wasn't a particularly easy shot, after all it took Oswald 3 shots till he accomplished his goal.
4. Picking someone who had a regular relationship with a Gun Shop seems like a no brainer
5. See 4.

Conclusion.

The Oswald that the CT's portray would never in a million years and that's no exaggeration, be picked as a Patsy.

Which just leaves us with Oswald, Oswald who hated his country and defected to the enemy, Oswald who wrote in his diary that he attempted suicide, Oswald who wrote to his brother that he would kill any American who defended the American government ANY AMERICAN, Oswald who bashed his wife, Oswald who idolised Castro and must have resented Kennedy's potential intrusion, Oswald who tried to kill General Walker, Oswald the Cop Killer and Oswald the Assassinator.

To boil this down, Mytton's argument is that Oswald would make a lousy assassin, therefore he must have done it.

Good post John.

It's also worth mentioning that "Oswald the Patsy" statement originated from Oswald himself.

Reporter: "Did you shoot the President ?"

Oswald: "No they've taken me in because of the fact that I lived in the Soviet Union. I'm just a Patsy".

Oswald the Patsy is just one myth in a long line of myths in the JFK Assassination. The reason Oswald gave to reporters for his arrest that he was arrested because he lived in the Soviet Union and because of that he was a Patsy is one big lie from Oswald, just one of many fabrications he articulated that weekend while in Police custody. We all know that Oswald was arrested in the Texas Theatre under the suspicion of murder and in doing so pulled his revolver on Officer Nick McDonald, not the actions of an innocent individual. Oswald claiming falsely the he was a Patsy because he lived in the Soviet Union is absurd. One has to wonder how many more former Soviet citizens were living at Dallas at the time, and they just by chance happened to arrest the one former Soviet citizen that all the evidence points towards for these murder's. His Patsy claim is even more absurd because he had all weekend to tell the authorities who had supposedly set him up and why, if he was as innocent as he claimed he was.

Oswald: "-- they've taken me in because of the fact that I lived in the Soviet Union. I'm just a Patsy". ]

I've long thought that Lee was sneakily reminding the agency that he had put his neck in the noose and performed faithfully on his mission to the USSR  and he wanted them to know that he was being railroaded, and he was requesting that they send someone to his get the bastroids off his back.

Yes sir... this Myton post is one of the most absurd posts ever submitted in this forum.....

Myyton says that Lee Oswald  would have been an abysmal choice as an assassin.....And that's the reason the conspirators chose him to be the lone nut ( who was not a nut)  assassin (who was not the assassin)

Hee, Hee. Hee..... :-\

Since you've decided to participate ,the thread topic is, Who in their right mind would choose Oswald as a Patsy?, can you give a reasonable answer or do you still believe that "all the evidence leads to Oswald"?

Back in October 1963, would you choose Oswald to be a pretend assassin and if so tell us what attributes that Oswald had that impressed you?

Exactly Walt, choosing Oswald is absurd and that's why nobody chose him, Oswald was just a Lone Nut who took three shots till he finally hit his target.

And no matter how may times you point it out he'll keep pounding the square peg into the round hole.
