??? Gordon Arnold - The Man Who Claimed He Was Attacked By Badgemann  ???

It's been a long time since I've seen anyone bring up the Badgeman claim. I didn't realize Gary Mack was the originator of the claim. He turned the Moorman photo into a Rorschach test. He blew up a 1/4" square and then added color for effect. Apparently Badgeman and Gordon Arnold were both about 9 feet tall.

Is it just possible ... just possible, I ask ... that Badgeman and One Glove Haygood Imposter are - yes! - one and the same?

Pareidolia should be outlawed, and I say this as one who has seen Jesus' face in two separate corn tortillas already this week.

I assume this is from "The Men Who Killed Kennedy," which I found to be fascinating and extremely well-done regardless of whether one agrees with it.

Those 3 guys whose waists are at the top of the 6' high picket fence would probably call Victor Wembanyama Shorty.

Your admission above is why I continue Urging you to expand your JFK Assassination Foundational Knowledge. Knowing that Gary Mack and Jack White conjured "Badge Man" from the Moorman Photo is "JFK Assassination 101".  And, your Not knowing this also means you have Not watched, "The Men Who Killed Kennedy" (1988), which once again is, "JFK Assassination 101".
After Gordon Arnold told his story on, "The Men Who Killed Kennedy", he then did a Q/A for the Sixth Floor Museum. This Q/A was very good and detailed. Arnold said they were pushing dirt around between the picket fence and the short wall running down from Zapruder. Arnold said he stood atop a mound to do his filming. He said when a shot whizzed over his (L) shoulder, he dove and rolled. This had been part of his military training and his diving and rolling is corroborated by U.S. Senator Yarborough. Yarborough was riding inside the LBJ Convertible on 11/22/63. This Yarborough corroboration is part of, "The Men Who Killed Kennedy". Arnold also said during his 6th Floor Q/A that the cop kicking him around was wearing colored glasses. Shooter's glasses.

I guess that explains how get got off on the wrong foot. You got duped by TMWKK. The WCR is JFK Assassination 101.

Did anybody besides Arnold see a dirt pile behind the picket fence?

I'll never understand how anybody could buy into the Badgeman photo. Hasn't any of those folks noticed Badgeman is not looking down the site of his rifle. If that is a rifle behind that supposed smoke, why is he holding it at the level of his chin? Anybody who believes that is a picture of a guy in a cop's uniform firing a shot at JFK has to be amazingly gullible.

Yeah, Badgeman is difficult to take seriously. What you should be asking yourself is how does the guy who helped cook up these crazy Badgeman images within the Moorman Photo, then get the position of Sixth Floor Museum "Curator". How does  that work? The "curator" having unfettered access to all kinds of JFK Assassination Evidence should Not have been given to someone with this kinda track record.
There is very little known about what was in the area between the N-S picket fence and the short wall running down from Zapruder. If you look at the Darnell Film footage that quickly shows this area, some of the people standing near the short wall, are Stepping Downward as they file onto the walkway that leads to The Steps. And this area between the walkway and the short wall was all dirt. The same goes for the area between the N-S picket fence and this same walkway. ALL Dirt.

You'd have to ask the people who hired Gary Mack that question. The Sixth Floor Museum is a non-profit organization run by the Dallas County Historical Foundation. Do you think they are part of the cover up too?

"Non-Profit"? You're gonna throw that out there with ALL the FRAUD/$$ that is currently being revealed on an almost daily basis? Boy are you naive. Dollars to donuts that Frank and Jesse woulda claimed they were running a "Non-Profit" too.
Again, do the Research. Look at the Darnell Film snippet showing this area. And look at it frame-by-frame. You'll see. And this snippet is in the later 1/2 of the Darnell Film. The much better definition last 1/2 of the Darnell Film has yet to be released by the Sixth Floor Museum/NBC. It's now pushing 2 yrs since they released the 1st half of this film in HD.
The last 1/2 of the Darnell Film also contains the footage of my, "That Ain't Haygood", Bogus DPD Motorcycle Cop walking across the railroad yard. It's basically the JFK Assassination Version of the Patterson-Gimlin Film. What's the holdup? It's obvious. Blockbuster possibly on more than 1 Front.
Are You aware of anyone else that even claimed to have been in this area when shots were being fired? Anybody? There is NOBODY other than Gordon Arnold that I know of that claims to have been physically in this area when shots were being fired. And again, Sen Yarborough did verify that somebody was back there bouncing around.

You are the one who questioned the hiring of Gary Mack by the Dallas County Historical Foundation. If you are going to suggest they were not acting honorably when they did that, I think you should show your evidence of that.

It isn't important what I would do or you would do in that circumstance. The Dallas County Historical Foundation made the decision to hire Gary Mack. I assume they went through the interview process with him, possibly multiple interviews. They probably interviewed others as well. After going through the process, they chose Gary Mack. I have no reason to second guess that decision. If they wanted to hire someone who was unbiased about the JFKA they would have severely limited the number of available candidates because most people would have an opinion on the JFKA. There is no reason a person with Gary Mack's POV could not do a good job as the curator of the museum. It was a management position and didn't require a person who was unbiased to do the job properly.

You're both funny and inconsistent. It, "isn't important what I would do..............", so you then Speculate as to what did happen? Just admit you do Not currently have the "foundation" to discuss Mack, and are too lazy to look into it. You have no idea as to the "claims" he made over the course of his "JFK Assassination" years.
You like to huff-n-puff, but in reality there is precious little to back up the bluster. "Foghorn Leghorn" comes to mind. Enjoy your day and watch out for Chicken Hawks.

Thanks for posting these photos. I hope the Forum takes note that even though the 2 Men are standing close to each other, the top of the picket fence comes to one guys' waist line vs the other's armpit. I don't know the height of either man, but the difference in where the top of the picket fence measures up to both is striking. Could be a DIRT Mound responsible for this disparity.
The man standing in the "Black Dog Man" spot, makes me believe that the actual "Black Dog Man" we see on Willis 5 is Not in this same position. The actual Black Dog Man is further (W) closer to the picket fence.

When viewing the Darnell Film snippet showing the area between the N-S Picket Fence and the short wall running down from Zapruder, FOCUS on the ground level of The Bench and the feet of the Black Guy standing near The Bench  vs  the ground level/feet of the people on the walkway. The elevation difference is pronounced. On 11/22/63, there was only DIRT on both sides of The Walkway.

I don't see any dirt piles. Certainly nothing that would raise a person's waist 6 feet above the ground.

The expanded Badgeman photo which Duncan posted shows Badgeman, the supposed Gordon Arnold, and a third man all have their waists at the height of the 6 foot high stockade fence.

Once again, you are Lost. The alleged Gordon Arnold figure is NOT on the same side of the picket fence as the other 2 Men. The ground on the 2 sides of the N-S Picket Fence are NOT level with each other. Break down and buy yourself a copy of "The Men Who Killed Kennedy" DVD's. A new copy runs $13 + Ship over on Ebay. You're currently flying blind. Looking pretty bad.

On top of all the other flaws and problems with Gordon Arnold's "recollections" is the location he decided to "film" from, a location from which part of the road was obscured by a wall and a tree. Arnold said that he did some panning tests(of this once in a lifetime opportunity), but he never figured out that there were much better filming positions that were not that far away? Doh!
It's no wonder after realizing his amateurish blunder, Arnold invented piles of dirt which would have to be very high to see over the wall but the higher he goes, the more the tree would hinder his view.
Of course the obvious solution would be to film closer to the full view of the road but then he loses his cover story of being hidden, deep in the shadows.
BTW the tree as seen in Duncan's post was there in 1963 and if anything the main bulk of leaves was lower and more dense.

I saw TMWKK when it aired about 35 years ago and it was a bunch of crapola then and I have no reason to believe it has improved with age. Initially, it was produced by a UK production company. It was re-edited and if I remember right, was presented on The History Channel. When I saw that version was being hosted by Bill Kurtis, I knew his career had done a U-turn.

JOHN - In Arnold's Q/A by the Sixth Floor, he mentions doing some kinda practice panning and having issues with "signage". (paraphrasing). I took this to be the Stemmons Sign and it blocking his view of Elm St just as it did Zapruder. This led to the higher ground/mound position that Arnold claimed to have taken. His "The Men Who Killed Kennedy" piece was done in 1988, 25 yrs after the assassination. Just my opinion, but 25 yrs later, I believe Gordon Arnold had his physical position off a bit. I believe he was closer to the large tree between the N-S Picket Fence and the walkway. And again, Sen Yarborough did verify seeing someone bouncing/diving around back there.
Also, that picket fence had been repaired/rebuilt several times by the time Arnold did his TMWKK piece. There's no guarantee the fence was reconstructed in exactly the same position on the knoll that it was in on 11/22/63. Military individuals use landmarks to fix their position. If that picket fence was Not in the exact same position on the knoll when Arnold did his TMWKK piece, this may have thrown Arnold off with respect to exactly where he was standing and filming.

Yes I did. Apparently I didn't think at the time it was important to remember who first came up with that turkey of an idea. I still don't. I've read so many silly ideas put forward over the past 35 years that it would impossible to remember all of them and who originated them.

"Turkey of an idea"! Without realizing it, you are rubber stamping my questioning Gary Mack subsequently being made "curator" of the Sixth Floor Museum. The man established a JFK Assassination "Boner" record that would choke a horse. Definitely a very nice guy, but his Boner Record made clear that he was unqualified for the "curator" position and the JFK Assassination Evidence he then had select access to.

Apparently, the Dallas County Historical Foundation didn't think that was a deal breaker. If I was hiring for that position, I would be looking for someone with managerial skills and some interest in the JFKA. I have no opinion on what his managerial skills were but apparently the people who hired him were satisfied  with what the knew. Who am I to second guess them.

BTW, the Badgeman photo was a key piece of TMWKK program so if you agree that was a boner, you are impugning that program.

Badgeman was one of many highlights in "The Men Who Killed Kennedy". That British presentation was far from a "1 Trick Pony". The Gordon Arnold segment did give us a pretty good look at that area between the N-S Picket Fence and the short wall. Even though that view was 25 yrs later, how many images do we have of that area?  And the segment where they detail the hiring of the foreign shooters was also interesting. I thought the description of where the 3 shooters were positioned was novel. I have never heard anyone claim/speculate that a shooter was positioned in the rear, "almost on the horizontal". In view of SS Paul Landis recently claiming that he recovered a bullet in the backseat area of the JFK Limo at Parkland Hospital, does give credence to a possible "almost on the horizontal" shooter being connected to JFK's "shallow" Back Wound.
Sure, there is more wrong than right in TMWKK, but you're making a mistake if you casually "throw the baby out with the bath water" here. I also think if you knew how the Gordon Arnold story eventually came to light, you would view Arnold and his story in a much different light.
