False historians are trying to conflate the American government's policy of preventing communism with JFK and his plans...

Those are two radically-conflicting things...

Those false historians use false versions to drown out and avoid mentioning Kennedy's documented overtures at detente and the peace initiatives he was documented as making in Douglass...

You do realize literally nobody is listening to you, right? Who exactly is it that you are complaining to? Do you expect the administrators of that other forum to read your posts here and suddenly realize, "wait! we were wrong about him this whole time! He's actually solved the case!"

Quoting Douglass or DiEugenio on what they think JFK was going to do in Vietnam is not stating facts. It's simply repeating their opinions of what he was going to do.

JFK's own words have been cited. Statements by people around JFK including his top advisers have been cited. Primary sources have been cited. Countering that with the opinion of others isn't a credible response.

Douglass wrote a left-wing hagiography of JFK, and then leapt from that premise to a fantasy of permanent global peace, if only JFK had lived (a nearly Messianic figure, in Douglass' recreation).

DiEugenio picks up the ball, and has JFK not only in peacefully concluding tensions with communist dictatorships, but siding with Islamists against Israel, also with incredibly positive results.

For those authors, the JFKA is not about an assassination, but a platform for their ideologies.

It always come back to how they see JFK. For them he was going to somehow break bread with communists and bring about world peace. The communists simply just wanted peace too. And it was those anti-communist hysterics and neo-fascist militarists in the US that were the obstacle. JFK was going to get them out of the way - all of his statements supporting containment, saying it was needed, were forced lies - and then we would all live happily together ever after. I get Goldilocks; others can have any of the three bears.

Well, sure, if you surrender to your enemy the war stops. That's the good news. The bad news is you are either dead or in Gulag; but there's global peace.

It's interesting and revealing that those on the Left who don't view JFK this way also don't believe in a conspiracy. Chomsky, I.F. Stone, Seymour Hersh. Hersh says the entire conspiracy claim about the CIA is absurd. He told Oliver Stone this and Stone replied, "I always knew you were CIA." But of course.
