I've been saying it for years.  If you want to believe there was some sort of a conspiracy to assassinate Kennedy in Dealey Plaza, then go ahead, we can discuss.  But it's a fact that Oswald shot Tippit.

It's amazing how often people call something "a fact" when in reality it's only their own belief.

Since when can it be "a fact" when you need to misrepresent the evidence and claim that Callaway was mistaken about what happened when the ambulance arrived?

Hi Steve.  I have never walked from the rooming house directly to the theater.  However, from the rooming house to Tenth & Patton, it is nine-tenths of a mile and it took me 12 minutes and 20 seconds.  Google says it is exactly one mile from the rooming house to the theater (straight down Beckley to Jefferson).  My basic algebra tells me that would mean I could make the walk directly to the theater in roughly 13 minutes and 40 seconds.

I did the same walk in 2008 and it took me just under 13 minutes with about a 5 second delay at the only traffic light I encountered on the journey. I can't remember the exact number of seconds. Looking at Google Earth, the neighborhood has changed dramatically since 2008 with new houses having been built and a school that now cuts off 10th from Beckley. There are a lot of places Oswald could have cut over to Patton and we don't know his exact route but I don't think it would make a big difference in the time required.

We know that Oswald fired the shots at 12:30 and the next event that was time stamped was when the shooting was radioed in. Everything in between is an estimate, that's why it's very difficult to pinpoint any event, including the shooting of Tippit down to the minute.

The time required for what? For him to be there when you need him to be there?

You can only determine "the time required" when you know when exactly Oswald left the bus stop in front of the boardinghouse and when exactly Tippit was shot. You don't know either!

Ain't it just too bad that Bowles, the supervisor of the dispatchers, is on records saying that the time stamps used on the radio can not be relied upon to provide real time.

And yet, that's exactly what you are trying to do, by cherry picking the evidence.
