Are CT'ers "Crazy"? Or LNT'ers?

To be sure, there are plenty of farfetched JFKA CT's out there, mostly on the backdrop to the sordid event, and the subsequent cover-up. So, CT'ers often look nutty.

Furthermore, many JFKA CTs have become a platform for people to promote their ideological agendas.

OTOH, the second official investigation into the JFKA, the HSCA-1979, concluded there was a probability of JFKAC, and that likely there had been a gunshot at the GK, as the limo passed.

There were a lot of smart and skeptical guys on the HSCA, and plenty of professional staffers.

In this forum, we have JFKA buffs, hobbyists, rank amateurs and laymen insisting they know better than the HSCA. Well, maybe so, but I would put low odds on that.

Add on: It is a matter of public record that President LBJ told Earl Warren and Richard Russell that the WC could come to no conclusions that might trigger a nuke war with Russia---and that instruction did a snuff job on links from LHO back to Havana and Moscow. The whole Katzenbach memo idea.

Very early, the WC-FBI settled on the LNT, as directed by LBJ. The WC was not an investigation, but a fancy posthumous show trial or kangaroo court.

The CT'ers or LNT'ers are today still arguing theories---neither can prove their argument beyond reasonable doubt.

I concede I cannot prove my case for a small JFKA CT.

But, the weight of the last official investigation, the HSCA, leans towards the CT side of the fence.

That is the less-nutty view, as it stands now.

It's a real tragedy, because LNT'ers and CT'ers have different perps and gunsels . . . but, hey, at least the CT'ers all pretty much agree that some evil, evil, evil CIA'ers must have been involved!

There may be a link between LHO and CIA'er Bruce Solie, but Solie may have been de facto KGB.

John Newman has floated a CT that Solie was a KGB mole or asset.

I have never seen compelling evidence LHO had anything to do with the CIA, otherwise.

LHO did work as a radar tech at Atsugi, a CIA facility in part, so there is some connection there, but that appears tangential.
