It's not a matter of belief. Odum deferred to the FBI document. That is a fact.
Tomlinson said that but it wasn't true? You're not making any sense. CE-2011 and CD-1258 are the same thing. You need to read page 3 of 1258 again and read it carefully. Wright told Odum that the slug looked like the slug that he gave to Richard Johnsen at parkland on Nov 22, 1963.
I have read it. I have it on one of my laptops. I recall that Tomlinson thought it might have been Shanklin but wasn't sure. The notion that Shanklin waited to until July of 1964 to report on the interview is laughable. And CE 2011 and the Airtel do NOT conflict with each other. Stop being so dense.
Oh FFS! You've gone completely batty.
It's not a matter of belief. Odum deferred to the FBI document. That is a factCalling cherry picked evidence a "fact" doesn't make it one. You don't know what motivated Odum to make that call. My guess is that he started doubting his own memory when he learned that the FBI claimed that he did show CE 399 to Tomlinson and Wright.
All Odum said to Thompson is that, after thinking about it, he now had some vague recollection of talking to Wright, but he still had no recollection about ever having the bullet CE 399 or showing it to anybody. He then said, from what you (Thompson) are saying (about the FBI claim), that
must have been what it was.
And you call this a "fact"? Really?
Tomlinson said that but it wasn't true? You're not making any sense. CE-2011 and CD-1258 are the same thing. Yes those are the same thing, but CE 2011 and Shanklin's Airtel are not. Btw you are reading incorrectly what I actually wrote.
You need to read page 3 of 1258 again and read it carefully. Wright told Odum that the slug looked like the slug that he gave to Richard Johnsen at parkland on Nov 22, 1963.Indeed, that's what it says. I missed that part.
Not that it matters much, because it doesn't say anything of the kind in Shanklin's Airtel, which - without FD 302's - is the only source for the information about this subject contained in CE 2011.
The notion that Shanklin waited to until July of 1964 to report on the interview is laughable.Shanklin did not wait until July 1964 to report on his interview. He simply did not write a report in November 1963 and then found, seven months later, that all of a sudden he had to respond to questions asked by the WC.
Remember, this is the same Shanklin who told Hosty to destroy a note written by Oswald! Manipulation of evidence clearly wasn't beyond him.
