There are 50 eyewitnesses who stated there were two shots and another 20 eyewitnesses stating the second shot was the headshot followed by a shot after the car accelerated. A study of the rapid double shot at the end would only serve to increase the number of two shot witnesses.
Your numbers are much higher than the HSCA numbers.  I don’t suppose you can provide a list of the 50 two-shot witnesses or the 20 ‘head shot as second shot’ witnesses.

You seem to think you are in the mainstream here. The reality is you are the outlier. You are a one-percenter. That's about how many people think there were only two shots. Far more people think there were more than 3 shots than think there were only 2. From the beginning, the earliest reports said 3 shots were fired at JFK's motorcade. That was the consensus of the people who were in Dealey Plaza. Specific witnesses, JBC, Bennett, Williams, Jarman, and Norman said there where 3 shots. The physical evidence indicates there were 3 shots. For some idiotic reason, you choose to believe Oswald started with an spent shell in the chamber even though there is no evidence of that, only your silly assumption.

There are 50 eyewitnesses who stated there were two shots and another 20 eyewitnesses stating the second shot was the headshot followed by a shot after the car accelerated. A study of the rapid double shot at the end would only serve to increase the number of two shot witnesses.

It is so obvious. Maybe don't try so hard to solve a simple problem. Everyone believes there were two shots. Prove there was a third shot. You question the reliability of witnesses but only based on your limited reasoning.

Maybe the answer lies in the practice of dry firing a rifle.

If the witness statements are too much for you to analyze, then how about stop torturing them.

LOL! Oh boy! John Corbett and Jack Nessan battling over who can make the lone-gunman shooting scenario look more implausible and untenable!

Notice that neither of them is dealing with the issue at hand (the gripping of the white hat in Z272). Notice that both of them reject Connally's adamant position that he was not hit before Z229. Yeah, gee, what did Connally know anyway? He was merely the guy who actually experienced the wounding!

Notice that both of them offer nothing but abject nonsense to explain Connally's dramatic reactions from Z238-242, i.e., the sudden slamming down of his right shoulder, the puffing of his cheeks, and the pained expression that appears on his face. Of course, this is all entirely consistent with Connally's description of the bullet's impact:

I felt as if somebody had just hit me in the back with a sharp blow with a doubled-up fist.

The idea that these reactions were "delayed reactions" from a bullet that hit at Z224 is nonsensical and unscientific. Again, Connally himself insisted he was not hit before Z229, and he did so twice, once to the WC and once in 1966 after studying high-quality color prints of the Zapruder frames under high magnification for LIFE magazine.

Since the CTs are the ones who are claiming that JBC gripping his Stetson is evidence had had not yet been shot through the wrist, the burden is on them to prove that hypothesis. LNs have no burden to disprove that the CTs have never proven.

I have the same reaction reading one of your ridiculous posts like this one. It doesn't mean I was shot. It just means I find it incredible that you were ever in military intelligence. I can only hope it was somebody else's military and not ours.

Apparently, you think JBC was in a vacuum, and nobody witnessed him being shot and have a different recollection as to when he was struck. Especially when JBC stated when he was hit and what he cried out. Is it just easier to be a clown than actually have relevant information?

Yes, I do and so does Pat Speer. How about up your game a notch and add a few facts to your story and stop telling the same old nonsense theory. It fails on so many levels and you have had that pointed out to you regularly for years.

So why are you not able to provide them?

So is this “I’ll show you mine if you show me yours”?

I don't see Pat Speer agreeing with you.  He disagrees with the Lattimer, Posner, Myers (LPM) theory of the shot times (which posits an early missed first shot) but doesn't say that the witness evidence supports only two shots.  This is taken from his site:

Seems like Speer agrees with me that the first shot didn’t miss. That was the main thing that I disagree with other LNs on. I don’t think there is much disagreement between me and other LNs that JBC was struck in the torso on the second shot and JFK was struck in the head on the third. So the only thing that other LNs and I disagree on is something that you, I and Pat Speer agree on: that the first shot didn’t miss.
