Jefferson Morley has identified the pro bono lawyers working on the JFK assassination for the CIA!

He seems to be unable to see this other than through his "The CIA" prism or view of events. He's forcing everything into this worldview. People don't act on his or her own, independently, with agency. No they are directed or controlled by others, by, in this case, "The CIA" (emphasis on the definite article). This has always been the problem with the conspiracy Left, almost from the beginning.

This "pro bono" jab seems be just that - a jab, a pejorative. He doesn't actually believe they are working on behalf, even if free, for the CIA. But he has to view criticism of his claims through the CIA perspective. Critics aren't defending Bringuier or Stuckey or even Joannides or are legitimately disagreeing with him. No they are defending "The CIA."

Interesting that he seems to be rowing things back a bit. He's now characterizing this as "George Joannides ran a propaganda and political action operation around Lee Harvey Oswald in Aug. 1963." Around Oswald. No longer - at least here - is he saying this was part of an "Oswald Operation", that Oswald was targeted by it. It's now an operation "around" him. So he can now say that, okay, GJ didn't directly order his "agents" to go after Oswald but they knew what to do indirectly, implicitly.

And he repeats the disproven claim that the CIA "lied for 62 years about his [i.e., Joannides'] existence" even though, as Fred shows, they admitted in 1998 that he was the CIA case officer assigned to manage the DRE.

He's quoted/cited in the media, testifies to Congress, considered credible. This is not someone to just wave away.
