You ask a lot of good questions Jon - unfortunately you don't really want them answered.  Any answer to these questions can only be found at skin level.  Its like a bad rash and you should accept it.  You have to go a whole forbidden level deeper to understand what the un-elected body controlling the politicians and these actors are doing.   Some would call it a deep state....at any rate it is an un-elected body of elites which have money to control others and rule over the people by constantly changing the game and substituting old ones with new ones.  People forget the old and move on to the newer conspiracies - duck and cover!

5 deep things to question:

1) Time is a great way to obfuscate justice and keep anyone from going to jail at anytime for wrongdoing.   When was the last time you saw someone in the echelons of power get thrown into jail for anything?  Taxpayer just keeps on footing the bigger and bigger bill, 2008 financial crisis  - taxpayer bailed it!  Where did the money go?
 
2) Is there really such a thing as democracy or is it a manipulation that you are oblivious to?  Within families, Bush Sr. and Jr. get elected, Jed almost!  It almost happened with the Clinton's too!  The same families always seem to be at the center of all these debacles which are occurring more and more often.

3) MSM has been complicit in issuing stories which are not investigating but rather voicing their journalistic opinions according to higher powers and providing the narrative as unquestionable facts?   Who has infiltrated them?   Are they merely all good journalists and lawyers with honourable motives?   They all seem to march in one accord and with different voices.  Who writes their scripts when they all come up with the same unquestioned authoritative opinions?

4) Following the money.   Who was making money from 2020 on?   Who was losing money?  Has the landscape changed in anyway?  Do we still have a middle class?
 
5   Seeing who gets pardoned is a last alternative when you have run out of other options and the truth can't stand on its own legs anymore.  A couple of examples.  Fauci gets a pardon....what did he do wrong that has to be avoided in the court of public opinion?  Hunter and the Biden syndicate is another?   How can 51 intelligent agents sign off and say that Hunter Biden's laptop was Russian disinformation.  They had the laptop for a whole year - time just keeps on slipping into the future!  Oh well!!!  "Just forget about it and move on will you!"    Epstein another- forget that one!

You see I can ask a lot of good questions - I don't have the answers.  It does appear below the surface to all lead to the same conspiracies and the need for the rich to get richer.  When corruption gets too bad, you have very few options when the people don't believe your lies anymore and you have gotten yourself in so deep that can't get yourself out without telling another.   
The most modern one we have now.  The climate has always been changing - why do think archaeologists are digging out cities from 2000 years ago that have been buried in dust and dirt.  Greenland had farmers at one time!  It wasn't always made of ice.   That wasn't that long ago! 

You know there is a problem when wind turbines and solar panels have to be given taxpayer money because they fail to be viable on their own accord.   People are farming the grants associated with them and waiting for new ones to be handed out by the government before they do anything.  They pollute the earth and actual use more fossil fuel to make than they give back in energy terms.  It is a good thing though to leave 7 year old depleted heavy mineral batteries or used out solar panels to rot out on the earth.  Nuclear is bad too!  That lasts way too long!

So for me it boils down to this:  If anyone has to lie and constantly gets caught lying, they are not telling the truth because they just can't stop.   You would totally lose faith in their system of perpetual nirvana if they admitted anything.   Whether you talk MK Ultra, PsyOps or Orwellian, they all have one thing in common purpose.  They are useful tools which keep people confused, under their control, scared and in panic mode.  The people are oblivious to what is really happening around them.  Lock downs, 15 minute cities, battery powered vehicles, blackouts will demobilize the people and keep them in submission.

For me,  LHO is merely the first perfect example of someone being Psy-op'd to become the perfect patsy - scapegoat if you like!   Did he know it?  Absolutely not.  He was only given information on a need to know basis.  The thought never occurred to him until it was too late and he was arrested.   He was enjoying himself as a Bourne or James Bond type character and an under cover agent.  His mind was manipulated.  Remember military training and a little help later!  "The military aims to transform individuals, stripping away civilian habits to mold them into disciplined and effective members of a cohesive fighting force, but the process can also lead to lasting psychological and emotional challenges for some."

He gave up his passport, then got it back - no problem.   He was playing in the big leagues.  'You' try defect and see if someone will welcome 'You' back without a court martial!  He had lots of money or at least kept fluent enough to play an innocent yet unbeknownst to him a dangerous game.  No doubt he was assessed and analyzed to be the right profile to be utilized.  He moved right from the ranks of military to where his station in life led him when he died.  I am sure even when he went to Russia, he was thinking he was a double agent and part of a secret covert operation.  I have no other logical explanation other than the fact that he was sucked in and his character was gullible to it and someone above him used him.   

He likely was given his job in the TSBD, otherwise  explain how he got there after all his escapades, handing out Cuban leaflets, being anti-American and so on!   Agitating and being in the media limelight was likely something that played on his ego and he didn't mind doing the gig for his handlers.  It was a perfect setup and he got paid too!     He always had enough so obviously his handlers were taking care of his needs.  We were never sure of how he financed all his trips and excursions and hotel stays!   Jack Ruby was another useful - shouldn't say it but idiot!  With his deed, he was heralded by the media as a great patriot for bringing swift justice to LHO.  He was not a nightclub owner and part of the mafia - nope he was just a good ole boy doing his duty for his country!

The web of conspiracy is of unfathomable proportion these days and it can no longer all be chalked up to Murphy's Law!   Robert Mueller, 911 and then Russiagate,  Comey, his daughter Maurene and others like those on Epstein's blackmail list (perhaps!) will never have to face judgment as things will be hid for another 50 years.  These people will be committed to distant memory after enjoying the rest of their lives and never indicted for a solitary thing that they did!  After all, they haven't done anything wrong anyways!   They are just following orders!
