Seriously, Jake?  That long, brown/tan object is Hester's hand?  Have you ever seen anyone with a hand of that length?!!! 
No, because it isn't possible. It doesn't even resemble a "hand" in the least because of its length.  There  is also nothing within that portion of the film frame that resembles a camera!
As I said.  You seriously need help.   You see things that aren't possible.

Royell,  Here's a capture from Groden's DVD of the Hester's and Sitzman that has a tad more definition to it.   

   STEVE - Thanks for pointing out the bag. On lesser definition images, I have always taken that to be some kind of photo glitch with his hand. That White Thing does resemble a cigarette between his fingers.

Yes, indeed… That is most likely a hand hanging down with the other on top of his wrist… cigarette between fingers… Not likely a camera… or paper bag…
