I have recently noticed a couple of features that seem to me to have been recently added. There is now a “Research Videos” link at the top of the page. Also there is a way to ignore members, if you so wish. These are appreciated by me and I just want to thank Duncan for these and bring them to everyone’s attention, in case some folks haven’t yet noticed them.

They are good features, an ignore option is a good idea and Duncan's YouTube channel is a terrific resource.

One problem I'm seeing over at the Ed Forum is a massive revolt because one of the moderators and the others to a lesser extent have set themselves up as the Ultimate Arbiter's and are judging the merits of posts and then deleting certain posts based on their own misinformed biases and is thus setting a dangerous precedent. "Power corrupts, and absolute power corrupts absolutely"!

Whereas Duncan let's the Forum members debate the arguments and usually the truth or good sense prevails, this is what free speech is all about, sure I don't agree with what the majority of CT's endorse but I believe that they have the right to an opinion and anyway on an open Forum, it's always fun to destroy their Worldview with logically presented evidence.

Yes, I agree with you. I think it’s important to consider both sides. I have learned quite a bit from the various folks here (on both sides of the arguments).

News of the Ignore feature is the best thing this side of the Second Coming!

I searched for it, but it's right there at the top of the page!

The only problem is that you still see the Ignored One's posts when someone else quotes him, but life isn't perfect.

I would like to think that, in my small and humble way, I have been so irritating that I was at least one of the inspirations for the Ignore feature. Please, hold your applause.
