Yes, I think that is right.  If Bill Clinton had taken out Bin Laden when he had a chance, there would have been no 9/11 but no one would ever have known because it didn't happen.  Trump has neutralized an Iran whose avowed purpose was to develop a nuclear weapon and use it on Israel.   The frightening thing here is that I think some people want Trump to fail regardless of the consequences.  They have no concern for the implications.  If that means Israel is nuked, they don't care if Trump is politically damaged.  The ends justify any means for the radicalized loons who think Trump is worse than Hitler.

If Iran had developed a nuclear weapon, they would have scratched Tel Aviv. Israel would have responded in kind by nuking Tehran and there would have been a full blown nuclear exchange between them which would have had serious consequences not only for the entire Mideast but the entire world. Trump understood that which is why he went to war to end Iran's nuclear program. He understood there would be short term pain for the US but when he weighed that against the danger of a nuclear Iran, he made the correct call.

I still won't believe Iran is serious about wanting peace until I see the Strait of Hormuz opened and ships flowing freely in and out of the Persian Gulf. The question now is, what will Trump do if they renege again. I think Trump already know that.

The main players involved are extremely young. YOU need to keep this in mind before piling on like you are doing above. And, you need to consider both families. You're fanning the flames which only prolongs the agony both families are enduring.

Karmelo Anthony was old enough to stick a knife in Austin Metcalf's heart. Austin Metcalf never got a chance to get any older. Karmelo Anthony got off easy. If it had been up to me, he would stay in prison until Austin Metcalf got out of grave. He doesn't deserve to have a quality life. I hope he dies in prison. The sooner the better.

I'm not defending what this guy did, but his age should factor into whether you decide to basically end his life. Obviously, your being seated onna jury murder case is out of the question.

Not really. I have already been a juror in a murder case and we convicted the guy. He too claimed self defense and the jury unanimously rejected his claim.

I don't give a shit how young Karmelo Anthony was. His victim was roughly the same age. His victim got no mercy. Why should Anthony. I hope the remainder of his life is as miserable as it can be.

I doubt that. They would be taking out sites holy to Islam and would kill many fellow muslims. When the US accidentally shot down an Iranian airliner during the tanker escort operation in the 1980s, Iran dod not retaliate via terrorism. They agreed to international mediation and agreed to compensation.

Iranian nukes would likely be used as a deterrent to Israeli aggression as well as aggression from Sunni Arab states. At least they enrich their own uranium, rather than stealing it from the US and leaving a toxic mess that US taxpayers are still paying to clean up.

If Iran was the big boogyman, why did Israel sell them F-14 parts when Iran held our embassy hostage. Why did Israel agree to provide weapons to Iran during Iran-Contra?
