Kristi Noem: I grief for the parents of Alex Pretti. I cannot imagine what it would be like to lose a child like that. Well, that is not totally true. I do know what it is like to lose a dog like that so I guess it would be somewhat similar.

If the government wants to take my gun from me, they will have to take it out of my dead cold hand.

Or from the back of my waistband before shooting me.

Pretti was 37 yrs old. Hunter Biden turns 56 next month. Let's stop talking about these ADULTS like they are babes in the woods. They have well more than enough life experiences to know what actions might put their life at risk. You go out into the public, on foot, carrying a concealed loaded gun, with an additional 2 fully loaded clips, and have NO ID on your person? This guy was seeking trouble. He found it.

People will continue to believe whatever they want to believe about this tragedy regardless of what the facts from the investigation eventually show (much like the JFKA). What people who legally carry guns should already know is how to react if and when they are approached by law enforcement officer(s). First keep your hands out where they can be seen by the officer(s). Then tell the officer(s) that you have a loaded gun with you. This is to try to avoid any potential chance that the officer(s) might possibly think that you might be trying to reach for a gun to attack them. I think that this tragedy could have easily been avoided. Hopefully, a potentially life-saving lesson can be learned from this.

You seem to think it was the victim's fault.

You see to think it was the victim's fault.

We need to stop trying to blame everyone else and take responsibility for our own actions. I simply think that if he had reacted properly, he would most likely still be alive today.
