It was and continues to be the Dems who suggested that Trump was colluding with Putin. That was a complete hoax. They knew it was a hoax all along but perpetuated a three year's long investigation to harm Trump during his first term knowing that it was false.
Smith,
Given the interactions of Carter Page, George Papadopoulos, Michael Cohen, Michael Flynn, and Paul Manafort, et al., with Russian government officials, Russian Mafia-types and/or KGB-types, it was logical to assume that the Trump Campaign was colluding with, or had colluded with, the Russians to get The Traitorous Orange Bird (rhymes with "Xxxx") "elected."
Just because it wasn't proved doesn't mean it didn't happen.
Speaking of which reminds me that Mueller's two big mistakes were by not following the money, and by abiding by DOJ guidelines to not indict a sitting President.
Steele's Dossier of raw, unverified-at-the-time "intel" turned out to be 80% true.
It's a pity that no one investigated the actions of Roger Stone and his Lyndon LaRouche organization buddy, Harley Schlanger, after Douglas Caddy, who at Schlanger's request arranged for the two to meet in Houston shortly after Schlanger had returned from Moscow, notified Comey and Mueller that Stone had told him in an April 2016 e-mail that he and Schlanger were "fighting the globalists," and that he (Stone) had a "back channel to Trump."
Just for fun, why don't you google "stone" "schlanger" and "caddy" simultaneously?
