Time to move to North Korea, right?

Or even worse "Europe."

The leftist media spin on the House Speaker story is hilarious.  There is "chaos" in the government, the radical republicans are to blame etc.   Politics is supposed to be messy.  It is not just theater in which there are preordained results at the whim of a ruling cadre of corrupt establishment politicians.  And it was the 100% vote by Dems to oust McCarthy that enabled his removal as speaker.  Only a handful of republicans voted to do so but it is all their fault.  No mention of the underlying problem which is Congress' inability to pass a budget and out of control spending by both parties.  Every year they just kick the can down the road.

Hilarious. Should they have saved him? Why? He was the most incompetent speaker the country has ever had.

Only a handful of republicans voted to do so but it is all their fault.

It was a simple majority vote. There was only a difference of 6 votes. Had those republicans not voted or stood with McCarthy, he would still be speaker. Matt Gaetz and his bunch of morons ensured that the vote went against McCarthy.

Why?  Let's see he just capitulated to them to keep the entire US government open when they were claiming it would have been the end of the world to shut it down.  And they empowered Gaetz and company to control the entire process.  The Dems constantly place politics ahead of the good of the country.  This was a good political move but awful for the country.  If there is "chaos" (the word apparently distributed on their talking points memo to be repeated over and over) and enhanced influence by the "MAGA" group it is primarily the fault of the Dems who voted unanimously to oust McCarthy just after he kept the government open.  And, of course, none of this addresses much less solves the underlying issue of out of control spending and inability to approve a budget.  The most fundamental role of these folks.   Wonder why Trump is doing so well in the polls?  Because of the complete failure of the political establishment.  Trump is a product of the lies, corruption, and incompetence of the establishment.  If they could do their jobs, he wouldn't have a chance.

MacCarthy capitulated to the Dems out of pure necessity, because he couldn't bring his own party in line. It was a demonstration of utter weakness. Why in the world would any Democrat wish to save such a weak speaker?

The Dems constantly place politics ahead of the good of the country.

That's rich. The Republicans wanted a shut down for their own political purposes. It had nothing to with the good of the country.

When are you going to start to blame the Democrats for the sun going down in the evening?

It wasn't republicans pulling fire alarms to keep the government closed.  The Dems desperately wanted the government shutdown to take attention away from the endless disasters unfolding under Ukraine Joe and his clown show.  McCarthy completely capitulated to them and they had no other choice except to vote as they did.  Then they turned around and stabbed him in the back knowing that by keeping the government open there would be a vote to oust him as Speaker.  Instead of showing any decency they voted 100% to remove him.  The same guy who tried to be bipartisan in reaching a deal with them to keep the government open.  They also emboldened the very folks that they claim are evil.  They did that purely for politics.  They want "chaos" to deflect from their own disasters.  Now they can blame the republicans again when no deal is reached even though it was the vote of the Dems that ousted McCarthy.  If even a few Dem moderates voted to keep him, then they could have transitioned to addressing the budget crisis.

Sure... and that's why they joined McCarthy to avoid the shutdown! Do you ever think before you write something this stupid?

McCarthy completely capitulated to them and they had no other choice except to vote as they did.

Utter BS... Why would they vote out a speaker of the other party that had capitulated to them. Doesn't make sense... at least not to sane people.

Then they turned around and stabbed him in the back knowing that by keeping the government open there would be a vote to oust him as Speaker.

The actual backstabbing came from 8 Republicans. By themselves the Dems wouldn't have been able to remove McCarthy.

Instead of showing any decency they voted 100% to remove him.

A Republican talking about decency? Hilarious.....

The same guy who tried to be bipartisan in reaching a deal with them to keep the government open.

He didn't try to be bipartisan. He needed to be, because he had no control over his own party's members. It was pure weakness. McCarthy understood that Gaetz and his ilk had placed him between a rock and a hard place. Giving on to Gaetz would only have made his even weaker than he already was, so he went the other way and desperately asked the Dems for help. I don't think he ever really believed that Gaetz would get a majority to vote him out. His plan was to defeat Geatz and it backfired... it is as simple as that.

They want "chaos" to deflect from their own disasters.

You mean the "disasters" that only exist in your delusional mind?

Now they can blame the Republicans again when no deal is reached even though it was the vote of the Dems that ousted McCarthy.

Hey, that's politics..... Something the Republicans suck at...

Hey, that's politics..... Something the Republicans suck at...

I've explained this to you as to a small child.  McCarthy had the option to allow the government to shutdown.  If he had done so, he would still be speaker.  Instead he capitulated to the Dems.  They had to vote to keep the government open at that point or they would be blamed for the shutdown.  If keeping the government open was a vital objective (as the Dems and their media mouthpieces claimed for weeks hoping they could blame the Republicans) then they should have rewarded the person who did that.  Instead they played politics to oust him.  Despicable politics at its worst.  It takes a majority vote to oust the Speaker.  The facts are that the Dems voted 208-0 in favor of ousting him.   Only 8 Republicans voted to do so.  That means that over 96% of the votes to oust McCarthy came from Dems.  Less than 4% came from Republicans.
