The main players involved are extremely young. YOU need to keep this in mind before piling on like you are doing above. And, you need to consider both families. You're fanning the flames which only prolongs the agony both families are enduring.

The Dems are desperately deflecting to the Reflecting pool and UFC match as though a single person cares about that. Deflecting from the end of the Iran conflict, gas price reductions, and an end to the conflict. Nothing to see there. There is algae in the reflecting pool! Gasp. CNN dropped the gas price ticker faster than they dropped the COVID death ticker about Biden become president.

I don't understand people who say their development of a nuclear weapon wasn't imminent. I don't know if that is true or not but why the hell would we want to wait until it was imminent before taking drastic action. Had we known the Japanese were planning to strike us at Pearl Harbor, I don't think we would have waiedt until December 6 to take action.
So many people only care that the price of gas has spiked the last several months. If that's the price we had to pay to keep the Iranians from becoming a threat to our homeland, it's money well spent.
If this deal holds, and it's still an if, and the Strait of Hormuz is opened again bringing down prices, I hope the voters will be able to look at the situation objectively.
Yes, Donald Trump is prone to hyperbole but the things he says are usually directionally correct. He can talk like a crazy man because he knows that fires up the base, but he governs with a cool head as he has shown the past few months. A lot of people, including me, were wondering why we didn't just bomb Iran back to the Stone Age He used just enough firepower to get them to bargain in good faith if hey have actually done that. I liked Hegseth's expression, negotiate with bombs. Once Trump started to talk about taking over Kharg Island the Iranians realized he wasn't pussyfooting around.

Yes, I think that is right. If Bill Clinton had taken out Bin Laden when he had a chance, there would have been no 9/11 but no one would ever have known because it didn't happen. Trump has neutralized an Iran whose avowed purpose was to develop a nuclear weapon and use it on Israel. The frightening thing here is that I think some people want Trump to fail regardless of the consequences. They have no concern for the implications. If that means Israel is nuked, they don't care if Trump is politically damaged. The ends justify any means for the radicalized loons who think Trump is worse than Hitler.

Trump has more personality flaws than any other dozen men put together, but you may be right that he has defused the ticking nuke-time-bomb that was Iran.
The devil is in the details, as terms come out.
Trump may actually be saving Iranians: Imagine Israel, upon learning that Iran is putting nukes on missiles, while Western liberal democracies, and Gulf states, do nothing.
A preventative first strike? Or wait to get obliterated?
Israel cannot wait until it is too late.
