What a fantastic couple of weeks for Trump and America.  The Bill is done.  The borders are closed.  Inflation is down.  Gas prices are down.  Jobs are up.  CBS is paying Trump millions for their election interference.  Ceasefire in Iran.  Pending ceasefire in Gaza.   It is a stark contrast to the unmitigated disasters under Biden.  Leadership matters.

No Tax On Tips!  It's a very complicated Bill, but hard working Joe 6 Pack's understand how that is going to impact their pocket book. These are the very same people that put Trump over the top in 2024.

I am a bit confused regarding the Social Security aspect of the bill. I read a news article that indicated they passed a $6,000.00 boost to the standard deduction for seniors (in lieu of eliminating taxes on SS). Then I got an email from Social Security indicating that taxes on SS have been eliminated. Which one is right (if either are)?

Edit: I read an article from AARP this morning which said the $6,000.00 boost to the standard deduction is correct. However, it is only temporary (3-years). And it phases out for people with higher incomes. So, whatever happened to the “No taxes on Social Security promise???   :(
