The MAGA Republican plan to crash the economy has the Trump stamp of approval—that tells you everything you need to know.

Republicans want to cut the funding and programs that Americans need to survive.

The leftists are howling for censorship after Trump's magnificent performance on CNN.  They realize that Trump is a force of nature.  The only way to stop his campaign is to engage in Russian-like state control of the media.  They are panicking with fear after the recent poll numbers.  Complete shock that the deep state has had no impact on him.  He is surging.  Old Joe has gone into hiding.  His only strategy for winning an election.  Hide to avoid questions.  Allow the media and deep state to make his case.  Hope the new voting laws allow ballot harvesting to overcome the most popular president in US history.

:D :D :D

No, the censorship only comes from right wingers banning books and free speech in red states.

I hope Donnie comes out on television more to brag about banning abortion, crashing the economy, praising the January 6th domestic terrorists, and raving like a lunatic. That hurts the GOP since the majority of Americans oppose Trump's fascism. Donnie is the gift who keeps on giving.

If Donnie was "the most popular president in US history" he would have won the 2020 election in a landslide and still would be in office.

Instead, he lost in a blowout defeat to Joe Biden because the majority of Americans can't stand him. And now, he has his criminal trials to look forward to.

Donnie is a loser who can't still can't admit he lost the 2020 election.

Panic? Donald Trump has a 25% approval rating. Just more comedy gold propaganda you posted.

President Biden @POTUS

Taxpayers helped keep the airline industry – and its employees – afloat during the pandemic.

So I know you're frustrated with the service you're getting from them.

Today, I'm announcing two critical steps to protect air passengers.

It's time for you to get a better deal.

And this year, my Administration will propose a rule that would make airlines cover meals, hotels, taxis, and rebooking fees – and provide compensation when they're the ones to blame for a cancellation or delay.

That’s all on top of refunding your ticket.

I know these things may not matter to the very wealthy – but they matter to most folks in homes like the one I grew up in.

My Administration is getting the American people a better deal.

Let's finally end hidden junk fees like the surcharges you see at hotels and concerts.

Congress, it's time to pass the Junk Fee Prevention Act so we can stop companies from ripping us off.

Join @SecretaryPete and me at the White House as we discuss protecting consumers when there are flight delays or cancellations.

CNN's Tapper shreds GOP senator for 'blatantly racist' comments on white nationalists in the military

CNN anchor Jake Tapper tore into Sen. Tommy Tuberville (R-AL) on Thursday, following a radio interview in which he dismissed the threat of white nationalists in the military — while deliberately blocking appointments essential to military readiness in the Senate.

In a new radio interview, Tuberville was asked, "You mentioned the Biden administration trying to prevent white nationalists from being in the military. Do you believe they should allow white nationalists in the military?" to which he replied, "Well, they call them that. I call them Americans." He later tried to back off this somewhat, with his office releasing a statement saying that he "was being skeptical of the notion that there are white nationalists in the military, not [saying] that he believes they should be in the military."

"Today, Tuberville talked to CNN off-camera and said, quote, 'Here's the problem. Democrats portray all MAGA Republicans as white nationalists. That's not true. We've got a lot of great people in the military that are MAGAs. That's what I was talking about," said Tapper. "All right. Let's break this down. Three points. First, no one, no one in the military is worried about MAGA Republicans serving in the U.S. military. That would be ludicrous for any number of reasons, especially given the fact that so many service members are conservative. Point two, obviously most service members do not fit the definition, but there is a white supremacist problem in the U.S. military, according to the U.S. military. In study after study. And there's a long list of actual incidents and domestic terrorists who fall into this category. Point three, Senator Tuberville's attempt to distance himself from seeming to be standing up for the rights of white supremacists might be easier to believe if last fall Senator Tuberville had not made one of the most blatantly racist statements we've heard from a U.S. senator in perhaps decades ... take a listen."

"Some people say well, they're soft on crime," said Tuberville in the clip. "No, they're not soft on crime. They're pro-crime. They want crime. They want crime because they want to take over what you got. They want to control what you have. They want reparations because they think the people that do the crime are owed that. Bullspombleprofglidnoctobuns! They are not owed that."

"Senator Tuberville there, saying that Democrats like crime and they want reparations, which is the term for payments made to individuals who are descendants of slaves, because they think that people that do the crime are owed that," said Tapper. "That's just racism."

And all of this, Tapper noted, comes as Tuberville is blocking dozens of military appointments to try to force the military to stop funding travel for abortion care. "There are currently 196 military nominations pending in the senate. generals, admirals ... 64 three and four-star positions that will need to be filled soon, including the Chief of the Staff of the Army, the Director of the National Security Agency, Commander of U.S. Cyber Command," said Tapper. "Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin this week, calling it a major national security risk, blasted Tuberville in a letter, writing, 'Without these leaders in place, the U.S. Military will incur an unnecessary and unprecedented degree of risk at a moment when our adversaries may seek to test our resolve.' This also, of course, has a trickle-down effect on other military officer nominations, which in turn impacts regular military service members and their families who are moving to new installations for new assignments."

"The guy doing this, the guy holding up all these generals and admirals and colonels from being promoted and the military from being ready for whatever threats the U.S. faces, Senator Tuberville, to sum up, he says Black people are criminals, he says white nationalists are Americans, and I guess for Senator Tuberville, the year is 1843?" concluded Tapper.

Top DeSantis campaign aide reportedly 'at the heart' of a 'political corruption scandal'

A top campaign aide for Florida GOP Governor Ron DeSantis is reportedly at the center of a political scandal involving so-called “ghost candidates,” a scheme Republicans have been using to “siphon” votes from unsuspecting citizens to assist other candidates – in this case to help GOP candidates.

Florida pollster Ryan Tyson, who “is expected to be a top advisor in Ron DeSantis’ presidential bid,” Insider reports, “was at the heart of a 2020 political-corruption scandal in Florida. He funneled money from big-business groups to committees backing straw-man candidates to split the vote.”

DeSantis has not announced but is expected to launch a 2024 presidential bid soon.

Insider describes Tyson as “deeply enmeshed” in the “major Florida political-corruption scandal that has resulted in criminal charges for five people, two of whom have been convicted.”

Tyson allegedly “funneled $600,000 to a dark-money group, Grow United, that supported three ghost candidates running for Florida’s Senate, according to court records. The candidates had no political experience and did not campaign. One candidate was paid $44,000 to run.”

“In September 2020, Tyson accepted $630,000 from a nonprofit with ties to the Florida Chamber of Commerce,” Insider adds. “Later that month, he transferred $600,000 to Grow United, which was run by consultants for the utility company Florida Power & Light, the Orlando Sentinel and the Miami Herald reported.”

Insider reports that “Investigators notified Tyson in late 2021 he was a target of their inquiry, but no charges against him have been filed.”

Tyson, via text to Insider, responded saying: “I am not under investigation by any state or federal official.”

“To suggest otherwise is false and, at this point, done with the express purpose of harming me and my reputation.”

Integrity Florida, which describes itself as a “nonpartisan, nonprofit research institute and government watchdog whose mission is to promote integrity in government and expose public corruption,” blasted the ghost candidate scheme in an 18-page report released in December.

“In the Senate races for Districts 9, 37 and 39, No Party Affiliated candidates were essentially bribed to enter the races in a scheme to siphon votes away from Democratic candidates in favor of their Republican opponents,” Integrity Florida’s report states. “Leaked documents from an Alabama-based political consulting firm with ties to Florida’s largest utility Florida Power and Light show how ‘dark money’ political committees worked behind the scenes to promote the ghost candidates, even though the candidates themselves did no campaigning.”

In one of the three races, “incumbent Democratic Senator José Javier Rodríguez lost to his Republican challenger by just over 30 votes. A ghost candidate with the same last name who did no campaigning yet was the beneficiary of a dark money advertising campaign, received over 6,000 votes. Clearly, the ghost candidate in the race received a significant number of votes, indicating that the candidate successfully siphoned votes away from the Democratic incumbent.”

Integrity Florida’s director, Ben Wilcox, told Insider, “The whole scheme just seems like it should be illegal.”

“We shouldn’t be able to meddle in a political race to that extent, to where you’re purposely deceiving voters. If it isn’t illegal, it should be.”
