There's no evidence that the CIA was involved in any way in the assassination.
So they said.

Not the ENTIRE CIA. Mainly Dulles, Prescott Bush, his son, and the Operation 40 boys from Miami. It's by far the most logical answer.

Not the ENTIRE CIA.
Exactly. It's like saying some letter carrier from Wichita went berserk and shot some people and then everybody blames the entire Postal Service.  All of Langley and their subordinates did not go postal. It was a "rogue operation'' and consequently embarrassing to the agency.

I think the bigger question would be , of all the Federal agencies , who wasn't involved in the murder of JFK ? We know the Patsy didn't fire a shot that day and he got the total blame . Too much pillow talk in D.C. ! They couldn't keep their mouth shut if their life depended on it and after seeing a lot of people get whacked . Now you know why ! Loose Lips sink ships !

Hoover and the FBI would've been easy to blackmail into compliance. Same with the DPD.

Allen Dulles ran the CIA until JFK fired him for botching the Bay of Pigs Invasion.

The CIA did not use US Military ships for the Bay of Pigs Invasion because the US Government did not want their fingerprints on the Invasion.  The CIA used ships provided by the Gibraltar Steamship Company (the United Fruit Company) owned by John Moors Cabot. John Moors Cabot was Michael Paine's older cousin / uncle. Michael Paine's other uncle was Thomas Dudley Cabot who also ran the United Fruit Company.

Michael Paine's uncles, John Moors Cabot and Thomas Dudley Cabot's United Fruit Company owned Swan Island, and the radio station on it that was used for the CIA's Coup D'etat in Guatemala and for the Bay of Pigs.  This links the United Fruit Company to both the interworking of the Bay of Pigs and the Coup D'etat in Guatemala. The individual who ran the Coup D'etat in Guatemala from the United Fruit Company's Radio Swan was the CIA's Psychological Operations leader, David Atlee Phillips.  David Atlee Phillips was the individual that had been at a meeting with Lee Harvey Oswald prior to the Assassination according to an affidavit written by Antonio Veciana.

http://jfkcountercoup.blogspot.gr/2013/11/veciana-identiies-phillips-as-bishop.html

The United Fruit Company's Headquarters was a block away from where Lee Harvey Oswald was handing out leaflets for the FBI and CIA contractor, Guy Bannister (who's office was a stone's throw from a variety of Intelligence Offices in New Orleans).

Now Warren Commissioners, John J. McCloy and Allen Dulles were both in the leadership of the United Fruit Company along with the Rockefellers and Michael Paine's uncles, Thomas Dudley Cabot and John Moors Cabot (who were very close friends with the Rockefellers.) The bottom line is that Warren Commission Members John J. McCloy and Allen Dulles knew Michael Paine's uncles so well that they would have had to disclose their close relationship in the leadership of the United Fruit Company, particularly given that the United Fruit Company was involved in great detail in the planning and execution of the Coup D'etat in Guatemala and the Bay of Pigs Invasion.  It would be impossible for the CIA Director, Allen Dulles not to know well enough to hold in matters of top, top secret matters involving Black Operations, Michael Paine's uncles.  Further, the Rockefellers never disclosed their close relationship with Michael Paine's uncles during their Rockefeller Commission.  Further, Michael Paine's own father was a boyhood sailing friend of the Rockefellers up in Bar Harbor, Maine.  John J. McCloy was the sailing instructor for the Rockefeller boys in Bar Harbor.  John J. McCloy's mother was the hairdresser for the Schiff Family (the US agent of the Rothschilds who funded Lenin and Trotsky to overthrow the Tsar.). Surprisingly, Michael Paine's father was not only a boyhood friend of the Rockefellers but was a close friend of Leon Trotsky.

Also, Warren Commissioner and the CIA Director that JFK fired, Allen Dulles founded the CIA's Propaganda Radio called Radio Free Europe with Dimitri VonMohrenshildt (Oswald's handler George DeMohrenshildt's brother.)  George DeMohrenshildt was also linked to the CIA in his activities in Haiti.

This is another link to propaganda radio, the first being David Atlee Phillips and Radio Swan, the second being Dimitri VonMohrenshildt, and the third is the party where Lee Harvey Oswald met George DeMohrenshildt or the "Magnolia Oil Party".  One of the hosts was the son of Radio Free Europe director Norman Fredricksen.  It is more than likely that George DeMohrenshildt, Dimitri VonMohrenshildt, and Allen Dulles all knew each other.

Priscilla Johnson McMillan, the woman who ended up being friends with Marina Oswald, stopped at a Radio Free Europe office on his way to Russia where she supposedly randomly met Lee Harvey Oswald and got an interview.

Beyond that, Allen Dulles's mistress was Mary Bancroft, who was a close friend of Michael Paine's mother.

As you can see, way too many, way too many coincidences.  The CIA murdered a US President.

Here we go again! 6 degrees of separation over and over and over again. Actual proof of CIA involvement?  None.

The CIA was put in charge of investigating the assassination so of course they are going to immediately deny their involvement and proclaim themselves innocent.

The FBI was responsible for investigating the event.

And Angleton.

James J. Angleton, Tennent H. Bagley, and Newton S. "Scotty" Miler were three of the very few CIA officers who were on the right track regarding KGB's "active measures" counterintelligence operations (since 1921), and how they were artfully interwoven (since 1959, with the dispatch, by brand new "Department D" of the Second Chief Directorate -- today's FSB -- of GRU colonel Dimitri Polyakov to Washington to "volunteer" to work for the FBI and the CIA for a few months), with "strategic deception" counterintelligence operations.

Wake up, Neo.
