Robert Marvin Shelton, the Imperial Wizard of the United Klans of America knew that Oswald worked for Venable and tried to pin the blame for the Birmingham Church bombing (which his group had done) on Oswald.

General Edwin Walker's window was "shot out" by Oswald and his Carcano rifle.  Edwin Walker was Venable's proposed leader for a unified KKK and John Birch society merger.  Shelton was opposed to Venable's merger idea and wanted to keep his group seperate under his leadership.

Lyndon Johnson was identified as a member of the Original Knights of the KKK by Ned Touchstone.  The Original Knights were one of the Klaverns that joined Venable's National Knights in the beginning of 1963.

Oswald is then eliminated by Jack Ruby.  You are not allowed to view links. Register or Login.  The care he takes to select the precise words to say, trying to say that there's more to this but he clearly cannot say anything in his own defence.
