A Possible Parkland Witness I wasn't Aware Of

Dr. Robert Schorlemer says he was involved in the Parkland ER activities when JFK and JBC were brought in. I'd like some solid bona fides that he is who he say he is, but as far as I can tell, his story doesn't have any obvious falsehoods or mistakes.

Yet another one who surfaced in 2013. Dr. Carrico testified that only a nurse and Dr. Martin White were present. Dr. White said he and Dr. Carrico were the physicians present, although several individuals including Jackie accompanied the gurney. Since Schorlemer was a student and says he took off his white coat, he may not have been noticed. Pat Speer says in his Chapter 19 that he originally dismissed Schorlemer as a publicity hound but then watched the video and realized the doctor was "not a back of the head blow-out witness. When new-found 'witnesses' to the assassination appear, I generally try to to hold their accounts at arm's length until some independent corroboration can be found. In Schorlemer's case, his account is fairly humble as far as these things go. Still, I'd like some background verification. I'd really like to see earlier versions of these statements to gauge how much the story has shifted over the years, if any.

Sure, I agree, but he seems to be about as obscure as they come. I could find nothing. You probably saw this comment by his son below the video. Any OB/GYN who sings Happy Birthday to every baby he delivers has to be alright.

This man is my father.  He is an amazing OB/GYN.  He tried to retire at 80 and after turning the yard into a golf course, was called by the hospital to “help” and he’s at the hospital 3-5 days a week to this day!  Sings Happy Birthday to every child he delivers, of which total in excess of 10,000.  He is also a loving husband and father.  His identical twin is Roger Schorlemer, a pediatrician in Dallas.  They both are great doctors along with one of their older brothers - Wendell Carol (“WC”), God rest his soul, was an OB/GYN, also in San Antonio.  I remember watching WC and Dad doing surgery together and talking about deer hunting and the best fishing line.  Robert was born to be an OB/GYN.  Many comments are right that he was/is a humble man and never talked about this event much unless we asked him to recall.

 "New found witnesses"? They were all over the place on 11/22/63. The FBI only cared about ID'ing a witness if that person had a camera. THAT Witness they would run down. To this day, we do Not know the ID of those 2 guys running away on the South Grass toward Main St. And what was the name of The Cuban? He was close enough to the JFK Limo to almost shake hands with JFK. And do we really believe that Witt was Umbrella Man? And he came forward roughly 15yrs AFTER the assassination. And what about that lady standing with McKinnon/Mumford near the light post? She's another that was close to the JFK Limo when the Kill Shot struck. If any of these people were to of had a camera, you can bet the house the Fed's would have ID'd them post-haste.

It seems to me that a lot of the witnesses who were actually there are typically fairly humble and don’t talk about it very much. I watched the video and he does appear to be genuine to me. It is quite interesting that he says he was one of the very first people to try to help both JBC and JFK. I cannot think of anyone else who said that they were involved with both of them.
