Officer Luke Mooney is known for having discovered the TSBD 6th Floor Sniper's Nest. But Officer Mooney also gave WC Testimony verifying that the Huge Gates attached to the TSBD were "Wide Open", and that He/Mooney walked through those "Wide Open" Gates and then entered into the TSBD very close to the stairwell. Mooney also gave WC Testimony of engaging a civilian stranger just outside of those same "Wide Open" gates. Could this "citizen" have been a shooter/spotter that just exited the TSBD?

Attorney Ball - "Why did you go over to the railroad yard?"
Luke Mooney - "Well, that was - from the echo of the shots, we thought they came from that direction."
Attorney Ball - "That would be North and West of where you were standing?"
Luke Mooney - "Yes, sir." "We were there only a few seconds until we had orders to cover the Texas Depository Building."
Attorney Ball - "Where did you go?"
Luke Mooney - "Mr Webster and Mr Vickery were there with me when we received the orders from another deputy."
Attorney Ball - "They are deputy sheriffs?"
Luke Mooney - "Yes, sir. They were plain clothes officers like myself, work in the same department, and we run right over to the building then, which we were only 150, 200 feet back, I assume it
is that distance I haven't measured it. It didn't take us but a few seconds to get there. When we hit the rear part, these Big Iron Gates, they have cyclone fencing on them, this
used to be an old grocery store warehouse, Sachs and Co. I believe is correct. And I says let's get these Doors Closed to block off this rear entrance."
Attorney Ball - "Were the doors Open?"
Luke Mooney - "They were WIDE OPEN, the Big Gates. So I grabbed one, and we swung them to, and there was a Citizen there, and I put him on orders to keep them shut, because I don't recall
whether there was a lock on them or not. Didn't want to lock them, because you never know what might happen. So he stood guard I assume, until a uniformed officer took over.
We shut the back door-- there was a back door on a little dock. And then we went in through the docks, through the rear entrance. Officer Vickery and Webster said, "We will take
the Staircase there in the corner". I said, "I will take the freight elevator".
The WC Testimony of Officer Luke Mooney confirms that the HUGE GATES were "Wide Open" as Mooney put it. This is what we see on the TOWNER FILM as the JFK Limo is turning from Houston St onto Elm St. Where those Huge Gates should be is nothing but a Large Black Space on the Towner Film. This is because those Huge Gates opened Inward. Those Gates are in the inward/open position on the Towner Film. Those Huge Gates can be seen to still be pushed Inward/Open on the COUCH FILM. The Huge Gates being Open is even more evident when viewing a Couch Film "Reverse Negative". Officer Mooney also makes it clear that the Huge Gates led to direct access to the TSBD 1st Floor and the Stairwell. Mooney may have put a fox in charge of the hen house when he put that "citizen" that was standing just outside of the Huge Gates in charge of making sure that nobody entered or exited through those Huge Gates. Who knows? What we do know for a Fact is that those Huge Gates were "WIDE OPEN" and the TSBD was Unsecure for an extended period of time Before, During, and After the Kill Shot. Those "Wide Open" Huge Gates are a Huge Hole in the JFK Assassination Investigation. Huge!
