Case Report on Lee Harvey Oswald by J. W. Fritz

This is a document I haven't seen referenced before:

I spotted some ... inaccuracies:

* Top of page 3, M. L. Baker: Identified him in line up.

* Also page 3 below, J. C. Day: Lifted prints [...] and paper rifle was wrapped in.

* Page 9, R. M. Sims: Recovered evidence... (like shells?)

All AFFIDAVITS were apparently numbered but I have never seen them bundled. Anyone?

Enjoy!

No inaccuracies there.

Did Day lift prints from paper rifle was wrapped in?

Correct. Would that have been an inaccuracy?

Good to see you around, Michael.

Also missing-in-action: Benavides at the Tippit scene, who recovered evidence. Who produced no AFFIDAVIT?

Oh, his colleague Sam Guinyard is also missing from the list.

Linnie Mae Randle got lumped with the boys at the TSBD; incorrectly listed as TSBD worker.

Guinyard is actually Callaway's colleague
Leavelle told Callaway to gather witnesses and bring them to him / Callaway went to Benevides but he wouldn't go
When he couldn't get anybody else he took Guinyard along for the ride

Michael, I had them connected like this:

Mr. BALL. On November 22, 1963, where were you working?
Mr. CALLAWAY. At Harris Bros. Auto Sales.

Mr. GUINYARD. On East Jefferson--501 East Jefferson.
Mr. BALL. Where is that?
Mr. GUINYARD. Harris Motor Co.
Mr. BALL. A used-car lot?
Mr. GUINYARD. Yes.
Mr. BALL. What kind of work were you doing?
Mr. GUINYARD. Porter.

Mr. BENAVIDES - I worked in Martinez, Calif., for Donley Chevrolet & Cadillac Co., and then later on I was transferred to their paint and body shop, and then I came back to Dallas and I worked for Mr. Harris.
Mr. BELIN - For whom?
Mr. BENAVIDES - Mr. Harris, at Dootch Motors.
Mr. BELIN - Dootch Motors?
Mr. BENAVIDES - Yes, sir.
Mr. BELIN - Are you still working for them now? That is, as a mechanic?
Mr. BENAVIDES - Yes, sir.
Mr. BELIN - How long have you been working for Dootch now?
Mr. BENAVIDES - Well, off and on about 3 years. During this time I went back to Merchants Delivery and worked there and then I worked for Southern Delivery, too.
Mr. BELIN - Now when was the last time you went back to Dootch Motors?
Mr. BENAVIDES - It's been a year ago.
Mr. BELIN - You have been working for them ever since?
Mr. BENAVIDES - Yes, sir.
//
Mr. BELIN - She can reach you at Dootch Motors?
Mr. BENAVIDES - Dootch Motors.
Mr. BELIN. What is the address?
Mr. BENAVIDES - 501 East Jefferson.

I understand they could be separate companies.
