If the election was held today, Joe Biden would be elected President. It isn't even close. When John Kasich endorses Biden that will give him Ohio. Other Republicans will be coming on board as well to defeat this lunatic. The GOP is scared and have Donald Trump promoting masks after he mocked them. That's how desperate they are.

The billionaire financier Tom Barrack was caught in a bind.

....Yet many of the connections facilitated by Mr. Barrack have brought liabilities, too.

The linkages between Mr. Trump and the Saudis and Emiratis have come under new scrutiny. A few months after Mr. Barrack arranged the initial introductions, George Nader, a Lebanese American businessman and a top adviser to the de facto ruler of the U.A.E., met with the candidate’s son Donald Trump Jr. at the Trump headquarters in New York. In that Aug. 3, 2016, meeting, Mr. Nader reported that the rulers of both Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates supported the Trump campaign and offered their assistance, according to people familiar with the discussion.

Such help would have violated campaign laws, and Mr. Nader is now cooperating with the special prosecutor, who is examining that meeting as well as a string of others that followed, according to people familiar the matter.....

On 7/6 it was 3,376,482 infected
Today it is 4,028,569

Goes up fast when every major city has numbers record breaking numbers and hundreds of thousands of people are infected each day.

That's the problem with this virus, as soon as lockdowns are eased up a major outbreak occurs. The problem here is that the virus was never under control and states opened everything up again. Then you have the cult that refuse to wear masks that contribute to spreading the virus.

What are the numbers you are seeing?

Thanks and you too.

What are the numbers you are seeing?

I depend largely on the numbers given by the World Health Organization. They are for the United States, as updated on July 21st:

- 3,748,248 confirmed cases
- 139,964 deaths
- 62,788 new cases

In my country, with only a fraction of the US population, about 50,000 confirmed cases and 6,000 deaths.

My only other source of information for news about the US is CNN, but the most informative shows air between 2 and 4 a.m. and the hosts (Anderson Cooper, Don Lemon, Chris Cuomo) aren't really objective. I watched an interview with the man in charge of the Task Force, a Dr. Fauchi (sp?). I got the impression he is a clever man. I hope and expect him to turn things around in the US.

Good luck and take care.

Biden and Obama tag team on Trump's bungled COVID-19 response: ‘He can’t relate in any way’

Former President Barack Obama and presumptive Democratic presidential nominee Joe Biden have teamed up for a new video in which they shred President Donald Trump’s handling of the novel coronavirus pandemic.

In a one-minute clip released on Biden’s YouTube page Wednesday, the former vice president begins by slamming Trump for saying he takes “no responsibility” for handling the pandemic.

“Those words didn’t come out of our mouths,” Obama replied.

Biden went on to say that he was baffled at the way Trump doesn’t seem to understand what the pandemic has done to the country.

“I don’t understand his inability to get a sense of what people are going through,” he said. “He can’t relate in any way.”

“One of the things I have always known about you, Joe, it’s the reason I wanted you to be my vice president, and the reason why you were so effective… it all starts with being able to relate,” Obama told his former VP. “If you can connect those struggles to somebody else’s struggles, then you’re going to work hard for them and that’s what’s always motivated you to be in public service.”

Watch the video below.

Trump to receive his 'daily' intelligence briefing on Wednesday — he’s golfed twice since his last one: report

The leader of the free world is scheduled to receive an intelligence briefing on Wednesday.

In a normal administration, that would not be news, as previous presidents scheduled daily briefings.

But President Donald Trump prefers watching Fox News or One America New Network to learn about the world, meaning this will be his first briefing in six days according to HuffPost White House correspondent S.V. Dáte.

BREAKING "DAILY" INTELLIGENCE BRIEFING NEWS:

The president HAS one scheduled for tomorrow.

It will be his first in 6 days, and just the third one in the first 22 days of July.

During a press conference from the White House on Tuesday, Donald Trump sent his well wishes to Ghislaine Maxwell, and the comments have drawn widespread condemnation. When asked about Maxwell's case, Trump replied, "I just wish her well, frankly. I've met her numerous times over the years. I just wish her well, whatever it is."

Maxwell is facing four counts of sex trafficking and two counts of perjury, stemming from her time as an associate of Jeffrey Epstein. She allegedly helped Epstein groom underage girls for sexual encounters with adults. She has denied the allegations against her. Trump wishing her well during her incarceration and criminal case appear to have really struck a never with many, due to the many pictures that the two of them have posed for together throughout the years. Some Twitter users have been sharing those photos of the president and the disgraced socialite while expressing their thoughts on his statement. Scroll down to see what they are saying.

“I wish her well”. Translation: Keep your mouth shut and prison time will be light.
