  You're getting stale Woody.

Good lord. You even lack creativity. If one had to put a profile to you, here is how it would likely look. Ready?

And old man perhaps mid 60’s. Little to no formal education. Disregarded by family. Given little respect. Then, with the advent of the internet, you have a renaissance. You can be anybody you choose to be. You can lie. You can attempt to make yourself relevant. And try you do. Yet, you make the same mistakes repeatedly. Know what that shows? Ignorance. An inability one with any degree of education would see. Would understand. Not you however. The lies grow and grow. You have clients. Your counsel is sought. You have inside information. We, on this thread question what you say. You ignore all question. You refuse all challenges. You have no choice. All you’ve done is lie. So, when overwhelmed, you leave. You run. You return another day and lie all over again. You’re a dismal failure even as a liar. We, on this thread see it repeating itself everyday. You learn nothing. That’s your ignorance. Glad I could help.

New at @CookPolitical: House rating changes in 20 districts, all towards Democrats. I can’t recall the last time Democrats moved so many races all at once, let alone in the same direction. The GOP is losing because of the failure who is dragging their party into the ground.

You really need to leave the COVID-19 panic party and get a grip on reality. Do you realize that the U.S. COVID-19 crude death rate is 0.04276%. That is is 23 times lower than 1%. A crude death rate of 1% among the U.S. population would equal 3,282,000 deaths. After nearly six months into the pandemic, we are nowhere near that number. We're at 143,000 COVID-19 deaths, and the case death rate has *dropped* since most states began to reopen, whereas it skyrocketed for several weeks 2-3 weeks after the lockdowns began, which should not happened according to panic peddlers.

This is total b.s. disinformation. The death rate is rapidly increasing. Since when did we have mass graves to bury the dead and have portable refrigerator trucks to store dead bodies? Is having a majority of our hospitals at full capacity normal? Michael feels 143,000 deaths is just fine when no other country has these disastrous numbers. Michael accepts failure and uses disinformation to spin it into a positive. That's what right wingers do. If they had any integrity they would be able to save American lives and then state they were able to get the job done.

Michael mocks this pandemic as a "panic party". That's the same disinformation Faux News Hacks push to the sheep downplaying the severity of our dire situation. Seems to be quite a bit of panic going on with our doctors and hospitals not having any beds to put COVID patients. Let me ask you Michael, COVID-19 cases are going up more each week, where are all these new people that require hospitalization going to go when hospitals all are already at full capacity? Do you have any idea of the stress happening with doctors and nurses who have their hospitals maxed out? Then we have thousands of dead bodies that need to be stored since all the morgues are full. They are all stored in special trucks. The Trump administration in March secretly ordered over 100,000 extra body bags because they knew the death total was going to be high and they wanted to hide it from the public. They also blocked the CDC from releasing any information about what is really going on. There is no doubt in my mind that COVID-19 is 10x's as worse than we know. One journalist called this genocide and I have to agree with that.

Michael also dismisses the 143,289 dead as a meaningless statistic. Well, the 143,289 dead Americans meant something to the families and friends left behind. We were lied to and told this was a "hoax" and it was "low risk". 3,898,550 are infected, so it's not low risk, because it's highly contagious. Just a couple of weeks ago, we were at 3.3 million and now we are nearly at 4 million. One dire statistic that came out that stated, that if we don't get this virus under control, half of the US population could be infected by December. Is Michael going to call that statistic "panic" as well? Also, it has been reported that the death toll is much higher than is what's counted, because many people are dying in their homes and their COVID death isn't being counted in the statistic. Other people who do have COVID-19 haven't been tested to know they have it and are dying from heart attacks and strokes at home not being counted in the statistics. Only after an autopsy was performed was it discovered that these people had COVID-19.

People like Michael who push this disinformation want you to become numb to the fact that all this massive death is happening. They want you to accept it as reality being a normal way of life. They want you to live with it and think that this is ok. This is tragic and devastating. This is not normal and we shouldn't have to accept massive death and become numb to it. This is their plan so they can elect this SOB who refuses to save American lives. He can  save confederate statues but not living Americans. This is why Donald Trump and the GOP needs to be defeated in a massive landslide or hundreds of thousands more people are going to be dead because they do not care about saving you. His election means more to him than saving American lives which he took an oath to do. How can you support someone who continues to lie about your health and safety? Look below and you can see how deaths are increasing and the dire situation we are in as Michael wants to play it off as no big deal.

Mass grave of COVID-19 victims

The substantial majority of Americans who catch COVID-19 have at least a 98.7% chance of *not* dying from it, according to every statistic we have. People aged 1-49 who catch the virus have a survival rate of at least 99.5%. The **overall average** survival rate in the U.S. is 95.8%, but you really need to look at the survival rates by age group because there is a huge difference between the rates for ages 65 and over and the rates for ages 64 and below.

Michael, like the GOP, passes off our seniors as expendable who can be sacrificed for the economy and our country. This is why Donald Trump is losing in a landslide and has lost seniors vote in every state. The GOP claims to be "Pro Life" which is an absolute joke since they have no problem killing seniors and children. The GOP is the Party of Death. Don't forget, several GOP officials are on the record stating seniors are expendable and were calling for them to sacrifice themselves for the economy because they think it will help Donald Trump get elected. Are you going to kill yourself so Donald Trump can continue his corruption and abuse of power appointing himself as dictator?

Donald Trump and the GOP do not care about you and their own actions have made that quite obvious. As the old saying goes, watch their actions and not their words. They are feeding you b.s. while doing nothing.

Michael acts like COVID-19 is a common cold that just goes away once you get it. Right wingers were making that same bogus claim with their COVID-19 disinformation campaign. The fact is we do not really know the long term effects or permanent damage COVID-19 will cause humans who contract it. Doctors only know the short term problems since this is a new virus. New reports show that younger people who have the virus developed permanent lung damage since many people ages 16-25 have had severe breathing problems after having the virus. Other problems such as brain damage and organ damage have been reported as well. So, this nonsense that if someone below 65 or in their 20's and teens gets it will have a full recovery with no damage is bogus.

And, yes, we most certainly can and should reopen the schools:

Right wingers are pushing kids to be in school so it appears everything is back to normal so Donald Trump can get elected. They do not care about the health of children. Power is the only thing that matters to them. Schools are the worst place for germs during flu season and it spreads in packed classrooms. Schools were closed in March because of COVID-19 and the virus is worse now. How does it make sense to shove kids in a dangerous environment when it's less safe than before? This will explode the virus and entire classrooms and familes of these kids can be infected. Not only that, children who contracted COVID-19 have different severe medical conditions than adults. Kids have developed the Kawasaki disease, inflammation disease, and severe neurological damage. Why would we risk putting children through this?

The GOP does not care about that. We can not allow kids to be put in danger zone where they can get sick spreading COVID-19 wherever they go. 85 infants were infected with COVID-19 and a few even died. They weren't jammed inside a full classroom where it would be even worse. And Michael and his fellow right wingers want kids in school to get sick and die to help Donald Trump because they think it will get him elected. Disgraceful. The overwhelming majority of Americans refuse to put their children in school during a deadly pandemic and can see right through these dirty GOP tricks. This is why the GOP is going to lose in a massive landslide in November.

Perhaps Michael and his fellow right wingers should sit inside a packed room daily since they think it's safe to do. But they won't do it, they only want others to go through it. Perfect example is the cowardly hypocrites at Faux Propaganda. Hacks like Laura Ingraham and Hack Hannity screaming for people to go back to work and kids to be in school aren't even at work themselves. They broadcast from home because the network deemed it to be unsafe working in the studio. So, here these hypocrites demand people to be forced into a pandemic and here they are working safely from home with a blue screen behind them making it appear as if they are in the studio. Why aren't these frauds out in the middle of a pandemic? Just more hypocrisy from these hacks as they push disinformation to the sheep. That's why these right wingers have zero credibility and are only there to prop up Donald Trump as state run media. He calls the MSM the '"enemy of the people" and "fake news" for a reason. He wants to abolish the free press like all dictators do and have the real fake news like Faux Propaganda run in a 24/7 loop praising him. That's why this lunatic must be defeated in a massive landslide in November. Children are at severe risk for COVID-19 diseases as you can see below and watch both videos as well. So, what we've read from Michael is the bogus disinformation that right wingers are pushing since this is all they can do to cover up the death and destruction Donald Trump cause this country.

'This is how it starts': Lincoln Project releases new attack calling out Trump for sending ‘unmarked agents into our streets

A brutal new takedown of President Donald Trump’s attacks on American citizens protesting peacefully was released by the Lincoln Project Sunday.

“The videos of masked, anonymous government officers attacking American citizens who pose no threat is shocking to watch. Federal agents with no badge are kidnapping civilians into unmarked vans. How is this America?” said LP co-founder Reed Galen in a release. “All Americans must be vigilant.”

While Trump’s polling numbers are tanking, LP said that the president is losing control. The state of Oregon asked the Department of Homeland Security not to intervene with their protests, saying that things were dying down and had grown much more peaceful. Trump and the DHS ignored the governor’s pleas to stop and made things worse, according to the Portland mayor.

Like a scene out of “V for Vendetta,” The video describes how Trump’s federal agents, “deputized by a rogue attorney general,” snatched protesters off the streets, threw them into unmarked cars, and took them away somewhere.

“This is how it starts, and freedom dies,” the ad closes.

See the shocking video from the Lincoln Project below:

The US should have been uniquely prepared for the coronavirus pandemic — but Trump failed every test: analysis

Travis Gettys

The coronavirus pandemic has spun out of control in the United States — which should have been uniquely prepared to face the deadly infection.

A comprehensive review ranked the pandemic preparedness of 195 countries in October, and the Global Health Security Index Johns Hopkins Center for Health Security and the Nuclear Threat Initiative ranked the U.S. at No. 1 with an 83.5 score on a scale of 100, reported the Washington Post.

“I just never expected that we would have such a lack of federal leadership, and it’s been deliberate,” said Beth Cameron, who helped lead the review for the Nuclear Threat Initiative.

Cameron helped write a pandemic response plan under President Barack Obama while serving as senior director for global health security and biodefense on the White House National Security Council — which was disbanded after President Donald Trump took office.

“In a national emergency that is a pandemic, spreading between states, federal leadership is essential,” Cameron said, “and if there was any doubt about that, we ran that experiment from March and April until now. It failed. So we have to run a different experiment.”

The U.S. has made almost every mistake possible since the pandemic arrived, but experts say the biggest miscalculation was the decision by some governors to throw open the doors to their economy while the virus was still spreading at high rates.

“We didn’t have the stick-to-itiveness, the determination, to carry through what we started in March, April and May, and now the virus is taking advantage of that,” said Francis Collins, director of the National Institutes of Health.

“If we’d had really strong guidance from local, state and national leaders, maybe we could have sustained the determination to get the curve all the way down to zero,” Collins added. “Now, we’re on the upswing, and I don’t quite see the top of the upswing yet.”

The shutdowns of March and April effectively crushed the pandemic in most parts of the country, but that success gave many Americans the perception that the virus was less contagious and fearsome as they’d been warned.

“We just let our guard down,” said Ohio’s Republican Gov. Mike DeWine. “Some people when they heard, ‘Hey, Ohio’s open,’ what they mentally processed is, ‘It’s safe. We can go out and do whatever we want to. It’s back to normal.’”

The virus has been smoldering in Ohio for two months, but DeWine now fears those embers will burst into runaway transmission like what happened in Florida.

“Florida a month ago is where Ohio is today,” DeWine said. “If we don’t want to be Florida, we’ve got to change what we’re doing. Everybody’s got to mask up.”

But masks have become a controversial political issue, and that has undermined efforts to restart the economy.

“If you could have written a prescription four months ago, a manual — ‘This is what you must do to deal with a virus’ — and if people could just follow the manual, we would be over this, like other countries are over it,” said New York’s Democratic Gov. Andrew Cuomo. “I think it exposed a fundamental weakness in this country. We have a divided country.”

“It was science denial meets government incompetence,” Cuomo added.

Those divisions fall at the feet of the president, historians say.

“You look at the Great Depression and how Roosevelt made a concerted effort to unite the country — the fireside chats, the New Deal,” said James Grossman, executive director of the American Historical Association. “That is the instinctive reaction of almost every president in crisis. Even if you don’t succeed, you try to convince people that they’re all in this together. This presidency is the exception and anomaly.”

Mr. Griffiths:
The U.S. deaths are at 143,000, as of today, July 20th. As Mr. Crow posited, a week ago, U.S. deaths will be at 150,000 by month's end. Deaths, hospitalizations and cases continue to rise.
Texas, Georgia, Florida and California are the worst hit states, I believe. ( Please correct me if I am wrong.)
Your attempts at "minimization" - aka "what aboutism" - are rather transparent, and insult the dead.

You HATERS need to hold your water with regard to the Corona Positive Tests numbers. We are beginning to get some solid numbers via MLB players that are returning to action after having Tested Positive for Corona. At least 1/3 of these MLB'ers that tested Positive are being labeled Asymptomatic. They NEVER felt sick/NEVER had Any symptoms what-so-ever on Any Day/At Any Time. This 1/3+ is a HUGE Number. On top of that, in order to rejoin their team, a player that tests Positive for Corona needs 2 Consecutive NEGATIVE Tests with a day off/lag day in between the 2 Negative tests. Many of these returning MLB Players are chronicling having registered a Negative Test followed by a Positive Test followed by a Negative Test...etc. Could be issues with the Tests being administered across this country. Also, like the flu, there may be Many Strains of Corona. Some Corona Strains being far more severe than others + the general physical health/age of the patient involved. The Positive Numbers currently being registered could be impacted by a simple case of Bad Tests/Testing. You notice we are Never given Asymptomatic Numbers regarding individuals that test positive? A Large number/% of Asymptomatic patients would make the general public wonder what is going on. Again, this is ALL New. Nobody, including Fauci and Birx Know with certainty what we are currently enduring.

Why is Trump dead in the water? Joe Biden is not widely loved, but he’s significantly less loathed than Trump. Political scientist Michael Tesler notes that you can see the gap even among the two candidates’ supporters: 80 percent of Biden supporters have a very unfavorable view of Trump, while only 53 percent of Trump supporters have a very unfavorable view of Biden.

Who gives a damn about test results? The more people that test negative or asymtomatic the better, but that's not the problem. The problem is the selfish creeps who refuse to wear masks and might be infecting other people. The only way to stop that from happening is to take restrictive measures. For the Republicans it's a matter of money over people's health. That's what it comes down to.

I say screw the money. If I ultimately lose my business because of covid-19, so be it. I can always start a new business later or make money in one way or the other. It might not be pleasant or easy to do, but it's a hell of a lot better than the alternative, because what I can never start again once I lost it is my life!
