You have to laugh at the hypocrisy and ignorance of these MAGA Republicans.

They're always yelling about "law and order" and "the rule of law" except when it comes to Criminal Donald.

Now that Donnie has been indicted on 34 counts of criminal activity in Manhattan, these MAGA clowns are screaming that the "rule of law" shouldn't be applied to Donald Trump.

What happened to the "law and order" and "the rule of law" MAGAs scream about? Just a bunch of total hypocrites.

MAGAs don't want Donnie to be prosecuted for his crimes and they pull out every stop in order to protect him.

We currently have Republicans in Congress threatening to put DA Alvin Bragg in jail for doing his job. Others are attempting to interfere into Bragg's investigation of Donald Trump. We even have dopey Florida Governor Ron DeSantis saying he refuses to take part in Trump's extradition to New York. I guess that idiot has never heard of Article IV. So, this is clear obstruction of justice on behalf of MAGA Republicans trying to protect their orange cult leader once again. This is what you see in third world countries. It's really pathetic and shows the entire world just what a bunch of hypocrites and obstructionists the Republican party truly is.

Donnie will now go through the legal system and have a chance to prove his innocence in court where he will most likely be convicted by a jury of his peers.

The MAGA Republican mantra was "Lock Her Up" when they already convicted Hillary Clinton based on "private emails" which turned out to be nothing as we all knew it would be. So, for MAGAs to foam at the mouth over Nancy Pelosi's tweet about Donald Trump calling it "American Soviet style justice system" shows just what a bunch of snowflakes and hypocrites they truly are.

MAGAs can cry and whine all they want, as they constantly try to paint Donnie as a helpless victim of the "evil radical leftists". It's truly laughable and pathetic. That shows you how terrified MAGA is of having their cult leader go to prison.

The fact is, Donald Trump destroyed himself by committing serious crimes. Nobody forced Trump to illegally pay off adult movie stars to protect his image or to pressure state officials to give him votes he didn't earn. Trump did that on his own and he got caught committing those crimes. Now the "rule of law" is being applied to Donald Trump and MAGA is losing it. Again, that's too bad because nobody is above the law and that's how our justice system has been since the inception of our country.

Criminal Donald is on tape pressuring the Georgia Secretary of State to give him thousands of votes he never received so he could steal the state of Georgia from President Joe Biden. That is clear election fraud and Donnie is on tape openly committing it. So yes, Donnie is already guilty and will have to prove his innocence after he is indicted in Fulton County, Georgia.

If a local mayor called up city officials on the phone demanding they give him 1000 votes he never received in order for him to beat his opponent, he would be convicted of election fraud and sent to prison. So, why wouldn't the same law and justice be applied to Donald Trump who did the same exact thing? MAGAs don't care what crimes Donald Trump commits, they just want him to constantly evade prosecution so they can claim "they owned the libs". These people are mentally deranged.

So, the "evil radical leftists" are not "weaponizing" against Donald Trump as MAGA Republicans want to ridiculously claim. Donald Trump is simply being held accountable for his crimes just like any American citizen would be. That is called "the rule of law". And if Republicans want to nominate a convicted criminal sitting in a prison cell then more power to them. The Republican party is already a clown show with freaks like Marjorie Taylor Greene and Lauren Boebert, so having an imprisoned lunatic as their presidential nominee will just be the icing on the cake for the MAGA freak show.

Guilty until proven innocent in the new America.  Those with differing political views are deemed enemies of the state.   They are silenced, imprisoned, and denied equal justice under the law.  No different than Russia or any other totalitarian banana republic.  A much more frightening time than the McCarthy "red scare" era because this is much more widespread with the traditional opponents of oppression on the left among most fanatic to crush any dissent.  Nothing like this since the Bolsheviks after the Russian revolution.  The level of obsession and hatred toward Trump is unreal.

Trump is now surging in the polls up 30 points.  A magnificent triumph over oppression.  No other person in American history could have withstood the onslaught and obsessive hatred of the leftists including endless attacks from the corrupt media and justice departments for seven years and counting.  Magnificent.  They have ensured that Trump will be the Republican nominee.  And wait until the bogus Bragg case unravels!  Dems are in complete panic about Ukraine Joe as his cognitive decline progresses and his poll numbers crater with each new disaster.

Wow. Lindsey Graham just called for Trump to “smash some windows, rob a few shops and punch a cop” in New York because of Trump’s indictment.

This is the Republican Party. Complete and utter lawlessness.

Donald Trump’s team is bragging that he raised $4 million dollars in “campaign” contributions in the 24 hours after his criminal indictment in Manhattan. That’s a number that sounds like a lot, but when you put it in context, it really isn’t.

For instance, Puck News has reported that Trump raised $40 million dollars in his first three months after leaving office, at a time when nothing high stakes was really happening with him. This $4 million is coming in one shot, but it’s still one-tenth of what Trump brought in during his first quarter out of office. It’s really not a lot of money in that context. It’s got to be a small fraction of what Trump would have been hoping for out of something as dramatic as his indictment.

This is also part of a familiar pattern these days. Trump dramatically hyped his Waco rally, but the crowd was a fraction of what he drew in the old days. Trump publicly urged his supporters to take to the streets and protest against his indictment, but almost none of them did. And now his isn’t particularly motivated to donate to him.

It’s becoming clear that Donald Trump’s base is as tired and washed up as he is. He’s spent the past two years mostly hiding from the public eye, and coming across as listless and lifeless when he has periodically surfaced. In order to hang in there with him, his supporters have had to spend these two years telling themselves that they weren’t seeing what they were seeing. And now they’re seeing that he’s just a sad broken man who couldn’t stop himself from being indicted and arrested. No wonder they’re tired.

Trump’s Fundraising Fatigue

A lackluster pre-indictment-gate small-dollar haul highlights an unlikely vulnerability vexing the Trump campaign: the easy money is no longer there.

The small-dollar fundraising drought is especially problematic for Trump, who can no longer rely on Republican mega-donors to fill the gaps.

Trump faces felony charge, source says

Former President Donald Trump faces a felony charge, a source told CBS News Saturday. A person familiar with the matter told CBS News that Trump is being charged with falsifying business records in the first degree, a felony in New York State.

The charge stems from alleged hush money paid in 2016 to adult film star Stormy Daniels to buy her silence regarding an affair she claimed to have had with Trump. The indictment handed up by a New York grand jury remains sealed, so the details of the charge are not immediately available.

Trump is the first former president in U.S. history to face criminal charges.

The former president is expected to be arraigned before Judge Juan Merchan on Tuesday, two sources familiar with the matter told CBS News.  The indictment would be read to him at that time.

In total, there are approximately 30 counts in the indictment, two sources confirmed to CBS News on Friday.

In a statement responding to news of his indictment, the former president called it "Political Persecution and Election Interference at the highest level in history," and accused Democrats of "weaponizing our justice system to punish a political opponent, who just so happens to be a President of the United States."

Two Trump attorneys, Joseph Tacopina and Susan Necheles, issued a statement saying that the former president "did not commit any crime" and vowed to "vigorously fight this political prosecution in Court."

Prosecutors did not inform Necheles and Tacopina of the charge, they told CBS News.
