I fear there is some truth to this. 2022 is a critical year. Democrats must get control of more state legislatures and shore up control of the House of Representatives and the Senate. The elections of the state legislatures are, if anything, more important. It is through the passage of state laws that voter rights are most effectively attacked. Voters need to realize that all elections are important, the Primary, the November general election and any runoff. It’s no good just voting in November. And they must vote for their state legislatures. Voting Just for Governors, Senators and Congressman is not good enough. We must make progress in 2022. All offices on the ballot are important. We have the voters. But too many Democratic voters don’t vote, or only vote in the November election, or only vote on some offices.

General rule of thumb. A vote for a Democratic governor and state legislature will shore up your voting rights. Voting for a Republican often endangers your rights. Not voting for a state legislator endangers your rights.

The bogus right wing media had a lot to say when they were parroting Criminal Donald's lies of a "Deep State" and Obama/Biden spying on his criminally corrupt campaign which never happened. As it turns out, it was Trump and his own Deep State DOJ with Bill Barr illegally spying on Democrats.
