NY has approximately 35,000 deaths.  No other state has more than 20,000.  NY, Cal, and PA have had mask mandates for months.  And the virus is at record high levels in those states.  They were sold a bill of goods on lockdowns and masks in an effort to influence the election.   They haven't worked.  They only thing that will ever work is the Trump Vaccine.  Coming soon.  Bend over and take it like a man.

Part of the distrust was the notion that Trump was pushing the vaccine to be released before safety tetsting was complete for political reasons....cf. HCQ etc.

I'm not sure that I'm following your logic.  It is Trump that has pushed for a vaccine as a solution to the virus from day one while dems were waving around masks that don't work.  It is the nutty dems like Kantala and Cuomo that have cast false doubt on the safety of any vaccine.  Hoping to delay its distribution until after Jan. 20.  Trump has been the biggest advocate of the vaccine.  It is Alice-in-Wonderland thinking to blame him for any reluctance to take the vaccine.

Trump is desperately trying to salvage his legacy. That's why he is bringing troops home before Xmas, why he is trying to take credit for the development of the vaccine and why he claims to have brought medication prices down (let's wait and see, shall we). For the time being the USA is still paying more for Pfizer's vaccine than the European countries!

Btw if the drug prices were such an important topic for him, he could brought the prices down four years ago, but he didn't... one can only wonder why.

Idiot.  You cited TODAY's numbers instead of the total numbers.  Which is more important?  A single day or the record for the entirety of this event?  It is simply a fact that approximately 35K people have died in NY while only one other state has as many as 20K deaths.  Anyone can confirm these numbers with the CDC and other sources.  The most deaths have occurred in NY several times over.  There is no "disinformation" about that.  It is a stone cold fact.
