Which Intersection On Freeway 35 Was Oswald Heading Towards?

A 1964 Secret Service report stated:

QUESTION: Are there any buses routed by the corner of Jefferson and Marsalis Streets that are also routed in the vicinity of any airports in the southern part of Dallas?
ANSWER: There are no city buses routed in the vicinity of either Redbird or Skyline Airports. It is possible to ride a Greyhound Bus to the vicinity of Skyline Airport which is located adjacent to Highway 77 South, and an individual would be able to stop the Greyhound Bus to be let out at the Skyline Airport. The Central Texas Bus Lines can be boarded at, either the Continental Trailways or Greyhound Bus Stations, or flagged at intersections along the route; travels to Duncanville, Texas, and is routed past the Redbird Airport. It is possible for an individual to request the bus be stopped in the vicinity of Redbird Airport, and thereby to have access to the airport.

The problem though is that freeways don’t have intersections - that’s why they call them freeways. So where exactly could Oswald have stopped a bus on freeway 35? Technically he could have stopped one at gunpoint using his pistol, but his first preference would probably be to flag the bus down normally so as not to draw attention to himself.

There is some debate as to whether Oswald was walking east on 10th street (and was then stopped by Tippit) or if he was walking west on 10th street, saw Tippit, and then turned around and began walking east. This would have consequences as to which intersection Oswald was heading towards on Interstate 35 (if that is indeed where he was going).

IMO, LHO was probably just acting out one of the parts in one of his favorite TV programs: The Fugitive.

When Tippit stopped LHO, LHO probably told him he was looking for a man with only one arm. Tippit probably knew about the program's storyline and figured he would find out if this was Richard Kimble...

Seriously, I believe there was some suspicious activity at Redbird Airport. And I haven't completely ruled out the possibilities. But I haven't seen anything that might directly connect LHO to it.

Neither can Skyline Airport be ruled out. It never gets a mention.

Do we know where the buses got onto the freeway after they leave the bus station? Could they go south out of downtown on surface streets, and enter the freeway at either Marseilles or Zang?

Where exactly was this airport? Maybe doesn't get a mention because it didn't exist.

There is some debate that Oswald was ever on 10th St at all.
Might do a search.

Not sure but here is the 1964 Secret Service report in full:
https://www.fordlibrarymuseum.gov/library/document/0393/23811296.pdf

It also says that there were no cab stands at any location nearby. They only existed at hotels and at bus stations (that where Oswald got in the cab with William Whaley).

And yet, ironically, a cab driver eating lunch in his empty cab on the corner of 10th and Patton witnessed the Tippit shooting...
