Why would Russia help its main enemy by lying that Oswald visited the Embassy?...

Why would they do that when they could nail their enemy badly by exposing the fraud?...

Doyle,

Huh?

Under the scenario I posited, above, and including my obvious assumption therein -- that the KGB and / or its sister organization, Castro's DGI -- assassinated JFK and both scapegoated Oswald for it and used him to effectuate a coverup, how would the Kremlin be helping it's (officially designated from 1959-on) "Main Enemy" --  the U.S.A.?

LOL

Hypothetically, if your theory were correct there was nothing stopping the Russians from getting both rewards and nailing the US by exposing Oswald never went to the Embassy...

What does this all matter if Oswald shot Kennedy?  Same with the PrayerDude stuff.  Get over it, folks.  Move on.  Get a life+

So what if he had help?  Most of the help came from the voices in his head.  Where did those voices come from?  Outside the galaxy?  Please.....

Doyle,

If the KGB, in cahoots with Castro's DGI, wanted to assassinate JFK and ensure that the FBI would wittingly or unwittingly cover it up for them, what better way to  accomplish the latter than to make it look as though their patsy not only went to the Cuban and Soviet consulates about two months before the assassination, but met at the Soviet consulate with the head of KGB "wet affairs" and sabotage in the Western Hemisphere, Valiery Kostikov, thereby putting the fear of nuclear war in the mind of J. Edgar "Egg On His Face" Hoover?

As Mark Riebling writes in his 1994 book Wedge: The Secret War Between the FBI and CIA, due to the shared concept of Mutually Assured Destruction," the Kremlin actually had nothing to fear and a lot to gain by assassinating JFK.
