Says the guy relying on Trump’s propaganda.

People such as yourself fall for this time and time again. Much of what Trump SAYS is calculated Mis-Direction. You should Focus your attention on what he actually DOES. This is why many of you are frustrated and climbing the walls, tearing up speeches, Fake Newsers yanking earpieces out of their ear while on-the-air, etc. You fall for it every single time Trump does it. He relishes frustrating the bejeebers out of you people while at the same time Controlling the Fake News Narrative.

"I thought that was Donald Trump."

How very clever, learned and patriotic this is since many Democrats also perceive the threat.  Pretty much across the board, stealing AI at the tune of $6 billion a year, belt and road initiative spreading influence, even the EU is warning against China.

Spying, the list goes on. Sure can't get one by on you.

Beijing now ranks below cities like Detroit, LA, Denver. San Francisco, Salt Lake City and Seattle on AirVisual's World Air Quality Index.

Except for Salt Lake City, all Democratic strongholds.

"While Utah as a whole is a strongly conservative and Republican state, Salt Lake City is considered a Democratic bastion. Since 1976, all of the city's mayors have been Democrats."

AQI does not mean less pollution:

Top 15 most polluted cities in world, 2019:    http://gyaanghantaa.com/most-polluted-city-in-the-world-2019/
So, maybe Beijing, a city of 21 million has some better air quality than other cities. It is but one in China and I see a number of Chinese cities on the above list.

I know someone who is from India and does tell everyone, they really do have a problem with pollution over there, it's no nation bashing or falsehood to state so.  It's true.

Coke plant, Pennsylvania, 1973

Richmond, 1966

Even with that list -- and steel, cement and other polluting-industries shifting from the US to places like India -- the US is producing twice the pollution of India. Per-capita currently and accumulative-historical, the US leads the world in pollution.

India's cities suffer from things like crop residue burning, wood cooking, inefficient cars, old technology and topography. They're a developing country and have to be given time. When a country like the US or UK gets developed and wealthy enough, air pollution then peaks and declines, through regulation and public spending. Imagine the US in its industrial and urbanization heyday being told to clean up its act.

See: Cancer Alley (Louisiana), Valley of the Drums (Kentucky), Love Canal (New York state), Flint Water Crisis, Superfund sites (1300 hazardous waste sites across America), Trump gutting EPA.

Hilarious! Instead of actually citing the CURRENT Air Quality in countries such as China, India, U.S. and other countries around the World TODAY, you want to mess around with "per capita" Baloney. Game Over!

Geezus H. Cripes, it's the same old bullshit talking points re climate change from the GOP, especially Drumpf's "Climate change is a Chinese Hoax", horseshit propaganda. You GOP are truly retarded. Your arguments are insane because you don't understand any of it and Big Oil controls the narrative.

Insane Arguments

1) Why should we have to give up our oil if no one else is?

Ans: To lead the world by example and maybe save the planet.

2) What about all the lost revenue and jobs and all that black gold under our feet going to waste?

Ans: Millions of jobs will be created developing the e-grid infrastructure and we can be world leaders in e-technology, which can be exported everywhere on earth. There is a fricken fortune to be made here!

3) Eliminating fossil fuels will bankrupt the world, especially countries like Russia, Iran and N. Korea.

Ans: Isn't that even better than imposing sanctions? Then we sell all our e-technology to them and the prosperity disincentivizes conflict and war.

4) Climate change is a Chinese Hoax.

Ans: The deniers don't understand the mechanisms behind climate change, which are the rise in atmospheric temps due to the accumulation of greenhouse gases from burning fossil fuels. The deniers confuse "weather" with "climate". Our twin, the planet Venus experienced a runaway greenhouse gas effect in its atmosphere approx. 3.5 billion years ago and now the surface temp is almost 900 deg F and it rains down sulfuric acid on the planet. Global warming turned Venus into hell.

5) The climate is cyclic and humans have no control over it anyway.

Ans: Mt. Toba erupted 74,000 years ago and changed the climate. This created a genetic bottleneck in humans which reduced the population by some estimates to as few as 10,000 people. We are all descended from that small scattered group because of a single volcanic eruption. Since then the greenhouse gas emissions from our cars have surpassed the volume of the entire Toba eruption. But burning fossil fuels creates greenhouse gases that heat the planet rather than cool it down like Mt. Toba did. Either way, drastic changes to the global temperatures are usually catastrophic to life.

6) Electric vehicles suck! No range and no infrastructure to support them.

Ans: E-motors have more torque than an ICE and they don't idle and waste energy. E-motors have a couple of dozen parts that require little maintenance, while an ICE has thousands of parts that regularly break down from all the stresses from exploding gases within. E-vehicles have been suppressed by Big Oil ever since the early 1900's when Henry Ford killed them off with his affordable Model T. Think of the advancements in battery technology if not for the Model T.

7) The planet will fix itself.

Ans: The planet itself doesn't give a shit about us, which is why we have to take matters into our own hands. And now that we understand the mechanisms of climate change we at least know how stupid it is to roll the dice and just call it a hoax merely because Putin, Murdoch, Drumpf and the Koch brothers want to keep making mo money. FYI, the amount of solar energy that strikes the earth in 1 day could power the planet for a year. Sticking with oil is Capitalism run amok and the bloody GOP have their heads so far up Big Oil's ass they look like seabirds swimming in bitumen.

8 ) I don't trust scientists as far as I can throw them and it's too late now anyway. Besides I like the warmer weather.

Now that we understand that greenhouse gases are behind the rise in global temps you have to ask yourself a simple question regardless whether or not humans were responsible for climate change. How prudent is it to flirt with the CC tipping point until it becomes a runaway effect that we have no control over? The deniers call it a hoax because they don't understand that greenhouse gases are pollution like smog. But like cow farts, greenhouse gases are invisible and deadly. Besides, what is the cost of extreme Capitalism if we have to pay for all the devastation caused by the hurricanes, wildfires and floods caused from climate change? Drumpf certainly doesn't understand the connection because, like everything, it's all a Chinese Hoax. All he knows is that Puerto Rico blew its budget on too many damn paper towels. You might as well be burning all your oil profits to run your car. Loser.

"Climate change is a Chinese Hoax",

I think on it's face, this is a totally false statement.  Trump said climate change is a Chinese hoax.  Alrighty then

List of countries by greenhouse gas emissions per capita(2013)

Per-capita-wise, India and China decline in rank; Canada and the US rise.

Quote
Canadians produce three times more greenhouse gas emissions than G20 average(2018)

The winters are longer than in the US but air conditioning in the summer is required. There is large-scale mineral and fuel extraction, including the Tar Sands ...

This is the World's Most Destructive Oil Operation—and it's Growing

,,, or the "Oil Sands", the politically-correct term the industry people prefer.
