Stephen Kinzer is a fine author. One can look him up. I'm watching this now. I'm not sure if he ever went conspiratorial with Allen Dulles.

I've read two of his books, he wrote the famous book about Guatemala, United Fruit and the situation in 1953 and another book of his "The Star and Crescent" on Turkey.

John Foster Dulles had a son,  Avery.  The Dulles' were not Catholic but the son became a Catholic, a Jesuit?? And actually became a Cardinal? Apparently so. Also, for those in the UK, they seem to say the Dulles' were of a Welsh background.

That's pretty mindblowing that he became a Cardinal, I mean, who would know that? Maybe some of our members from the Eastern part of the US.

I'm not that familiar with John Foster, apparently, Secretary of State under Eisenhower.

Anyway, Kinzner's presentation is great, he really lays out American interventionism (and apparently back in the day, we carried out assassinations too).

Interventionism has caused problems. I can see how to an extent, combating communism was an imperative.

What we sure as heck do not need to do is go down the wrong roads again and again...
