Let's put aside you morphing the Hill description into both an entry and exit wound. You're basically right about the bullet path being tangential.

While the slope of the bullet path through the skull is tangential, some may argue a true tangential wound is caused by a bullet that deflects off the outside of the surface (skull, in this case). In Dealey Plaza, the missile went into the President's skull via the entry wound it created and exited through the large gaping exit wound.

I know you won't be able to see this because you won't want to......... but Zapruder frame 274 shows the blood on JFK's temple just where Clint Hill said he saw a bullet hole.

A simple matter of a "Bullet Right Through the Brain".

“Motorcade Cop Tells How It Happened,” Sunday News (New York), 24 November 1963
p.25:

Dallas, Nov. 23 (Special) - B. W. Hargis, 31, Dallas motorcycle patrolman who was riding
in President Kennedy’s motorcade, gave this account today of the assassination:

“We turned left onto Elm St. off Houston, about half a block from where it happened. I was
right alongside the rear fender on the left hand side of the President’s car, near Mrs. Kennedy.

~snip~

As the President straightened back up, Mrs. Kennedy turned toward him, and that was when he got hit in the side of his head, spinning it around."

~snip~

Angle of arrow seems to lead to the glove compartment, not the Knoll.

"From the irregular margins of the above scalp defect tears extend in
stellate fashion into the more or less intact scalp as follows:

     a. From the right inferior temporo-parietal margin anterior to
the right ear to a point slightly above the tragus.

     b. From the anterior parietal margin anteriorly on the forehead
to approximately 4 cm. above the right orbital ridge.

     c. From the left margin of the main defect across the midline
antero-laterally for a distance of approximately 8 cm.

     d. From the same starting point as c. 10 cm. postero-laterally."

In describing scalp tears (that extend from the defect with"an actual absence of scalp and bone"), the scalp tear in the right temple seen on the autopsy photo is described in "b".

Hi Gary, There is only one place that I have seen the blood on JFK's right temple....  Z frame 274 on page 27 of TKOAP.

There are a couple of scenarios that would explain how the blood on his temple could be seen before the rear of his head explodes, and I think the most logical way to explain it is if JFK was hit in the head almost simultaneously with two bullets....

LOL. Now there's a new theory.

The hidden glove compartment assassin.
