Here's my take on the way the real world worked back in 63 in a nutshell: James Angleton was chief of CIA counterintel at the time and Allen Dulles was the director and they were best firiends. Then JFK fired Dulles for the Bay of Pigs debacle and threatened to bust up the CIA. It was this action that triggered the coup setting off Dulles and Angleton to orchestrate "The Big Event". First they needed to get the FBI on board. Angleton was the one who had Hoover by the shorthairs with that compromising photo and Hoover never liked the Kennedys anyway. The FBI was in. Next was to co-opt Johnson, which turned out to be easy since he had his own indictment on the horizon. He was in. All the other players such as big oil and the mob were incidental to the cause. They would have gladly participated for their own reasons, but the 3 corner stones for a coup d'état were the CIA and the FBI with Johnson waiting in the wings. Oswald was Angleton's sheep-dipped "singleton". IMO, this is the only theory that fits all the evidence. The lone nut theory is clutching at straws.

I believe there is a video of News reporters asking ( Curry?  Wade ? ) about a Back Yard photo on Friday or Saturday.....Does anybody recall a reporter asking

"I understand that there is a photo showing Oswald holding the rifle, Can you tell us about that?"

When was the first time the BY photo was mentioned?

Angleton was obsessed with "moles" and if you could give him Mary Pinchot Meyer he would probably collaborate rather than giving him money, fame or whatever other temptations ...

She apeared to be the most atractive mistress of Kennedy and was an intelligent peace activist. Angleton had her phone tapped and she was assassinated in october 64 without any culpriit being found.

(Sorry for the off topic Walt, but those looking in to this theory deserve some additional information)
