How do you link a clip board found on the 6th floor days after the fact with Lee being the assassin?
Simply that it places him on the 6th floor...at the time he quit working.
Not the 5th
Not the 4th
Not the 3rd
Not the 2nd
Not the 1st.
To borrow an oft repeated phrase from your side...
No one ever saw him go downstairs for lunch.
We know he had exhibited a good work ethic at the TSBD, right?
I have successfully placed him on the 6th floor at noon...the time workers normally broke for lunch.
This helps substantiate Givens sighting of him just before.
Please don't misunderstand...I am not claiming this is any proof he was the assassin....
If we are looking for proof it will not be found in 100% of the posts on this or any other forum.
But, at least we know (circumstantially) he was on the 6th floor when he stopped working on the 6th floor at noon.
I can imagine the credibility which would be given this little tidbit if the clipboard had been found on any other floor....it would be a mega thread.
Return, if you like to conjecture about chicken bones....and what they must mean.

You invented a non-issue.

Stop fooling yourself, Hess.
I would expect any researcher would be interested in placing the alleged assassin on the floor from which the shots emanated....
So much has been made of supposed sightings before 12:30 this has merely established (circumstantially) his whereabouts at the noon break for lunch.
The 6th floor.
Not the 5th
Not the 4th
Not the 3rd
Not the 2nd
Not the 1st

Sorry to see you trapped in your rabbit hole…

The unfilled orders were all 3 for Scott-Foresman books  which were stored on the 1st and 6th floor.

Oswalds presense there was legit. He broke for lunch.

On Givens (to extend his presense), you're 40+ years behind the curve. Consult Sylvia Meagher who I linked to.
It's my thread, of course I comment on it.
You do as well...so who is "trapped"?
BTW "p-r-e-s-e-n-c-e" :D
Can you spell "ignorance"?

This is from my "Statements That Sink The WC's Conclusions" series and shows that the answer to the OP post's question is -- LHO was working.

I think this shows he was NOT planning on shooting JFK that day, otherwise, he would have been planning this instead filling book orders.

So, you think he should have been at a drawing board calculating trajectories?
Take my advice...don't assassinate anyone.

"Notice what was missing from his statement to the FBI? "
Trying to use "missing evidence" as evidence. Not everything is all inclusive.

"How was Givens able to determine that Lee was coming from the SE corner if Givens was in the NW corner where the elevators were?"
A  less literal interpretation could easily include "from the direction of...."

Splitting hairs over (seemingly) contradictory statements may discredit a witness but corroborating evidence separates the wheat from the chaff.
Fact is the location of the clipboard along with Oswald's work ethic at the TSBD is strong circumstantial evidence he remained on the 6th floor until noon at least.
Wandering around unable to find Scott Foresmans or...?
All the employees are known to have filled Scott Foresman book orders and all he needed to do was ask someone.
But instead he chose to remain on the floor by himself when others went down....He "had something to do" before lunch.
Searching for Scott Foresmans?
....

Givens said to Oswald, "Boy are you going downstairs? ... It's near lunch time." Oswald said, "No, sir....."
Before noon!
What was Oswald doing for that half hour?
Hiding his clipboard?

Having lunch?

Clearly leaving the clipboard on the 6th floor is  strong evidence he was there at the very least at the end of his "work day".

Sure, if that was actually his clipboard.  But the entire 6th floor floor-laying crew was there at the end of their "work day" too.

Your point?

Now your own bias is showing as you struggle with this uncomfortable aspect.
I can't accept pixies were moving things around hoping that in 55 years someone might use the location the clipboard was found to help indicate his last known location (working) was on the 6th floor...before 12:30
Can you show it was moved at all between 11-22-63 and 12-1-63?

Can you show that Oswald left it there?  Or that it was even there when the police did their "extensive search" of the sixth floor?
