At The Mock Trial Of Lee Harvey Oswald In London 1986

It's really hard to know what to make out of Tilson's story.
He says he saw a car parked in the area marked by the red circle:

Below is a crop from a picture taken at the exact moment Tilson is talking about.
The red circle shows where this car should be but I've examined the area really closely and can't find anything resembling a car:

The story Tilson tells is too specific to be some kind of misunderstanding.
Is he lying?
Why?

This sighting also has the problem of the fact there was a police officer stationed at the west end on top of the triple underpass - Officer White. White said his view of the motorcade was obstructed around the time of the assassination due to a freight train passing in front of him blocking his view into Dealey Plaza. From this, the man Tilson saw, if he came running from the Grassy Knoll, would have had to pass by the moving freight train and pass unseen by Officer White in order to get from the grassy knoll to the west side of the triple underpass in order to then slide down the embankment to get to the car. There is some debate as to the exact timing the freight train passed, but one would think Officer White should have seen the man if he did come running from the grassy knoll and running westwards to the west side of the triple underpass.

Not to mention the 10 or so people actually stood on the underpass at the time of the assassination.
So let's assume Tilson has completely fabricated this story.
Why would he feel the need to do this for the mock trial?

just my own thoughts here (and it may be a given to you so sorry if im saying what you already know ) but certainly you are showing a still from a film seconds after the shots rang out , just after the limo passed below the underpass and was about to turn left on to the stemmons .at that point in time sure any car there , i mean there at that point and previous to that point would have been moved on by police . given that it let anyone in the car have close access to jfk . to be honest i cant recall if tilson said the car was always prior to jfks arrival and again shortly there after , but if he did that is a problem as the photo you posted shows no car in that area .could the car have pulled up in the minutes after the shooting ? .

update : ive just watched the video above to refresh my memory . and yest it appears as tho his is saying the car was always there . there is a sign in the way but even with that it does not look like there was a car there .so either he made this story up or he is confused and saw the car some minutes after the motorcade had passed by . regarding the train , there was a train in the railyard behind the fence , but we can see from film and photos that no train was on the overpass as jfk passed beneath .i will say tho that tilson was unruffled and kept cool .i am wondering why the bug didnt pull out a large still of the film frame you posted here and show it to tilson .

I don't believe Tilson is 'misremembering'.
The whole story is really specific and very detailed.
If, as the evidence suggests, there was no car there at the time Tilson stated there was it would seem, on the face of it, Tilson has taken it upon himself to brazenly lie in the mock trial in an attempt to further muddy the waters (as if this hadn't been done enough).
I really don't understand why he would personally go to the trouble of doing this.

with all the film and photo available of jfks limo all along elm and onto the stemmons its difficult to understand why anyone would lie knowing that the photo and film could prove them a liar .and he seemed so calm in testifying .but he may simply not have realized that the film footage we have now was there .
