After parking on the west side of the former TSBD I began working my way around from the north end of the rail yard to the TUP, taking photography and GPS every 25 feet or so. As I neared the TUP I first noticed something odd looking with the DCRB and Courts buildings. WTF?
I asked an employee in the Reading Room about what was going on with those buildings. Apparently, the Powers-That-Be decided that the two separate buildings should be married (so to speak), merged into a single building. At some time it was discovered that the floor levels of the two building were not compatible. So, to fix that issue both buildings are being gutted, with only the facade masonry intact. WOW! Construction is expected for mid 2024, if I heard correctly.
It turns out the GPS data I'd taken for two days was somehow erased from the GPS! Apparently, due to something similar to butt dialing.

Those buildings had both outlived their useful lives. Better to renovate them than bulldoze them entirely.
