Why the closest person without an alibi, with unimpeded access to the shooter's nest, whose testimony is unbelievable, had military training, and was "emotionally" unstable is not a reasonable suspect?
As opposed to LHO, who was found several floors from the shooter's nest, having a path that it is now impossible to prove was actually clear from him to traverse. The DPD\WC could have pursued the witnesses between the 6th and 2nd and confirmed it was clear but appears to have decided not to.

Only one person fits the following, "the closest person without an alibi, with unimpeded access to the shooter's nest, whose testimony is unbelievable, had military training, and was "emotionally" unstable"
He reported being at the back of the 5th/6th floor, but is not seen by Bonnie Ray Williams (BRW) as he traverses from right next to the shooters nest to the front of the 5th, about 2 to 3 minutes before the shooting. Nor does he see Oswald flight.
Reports using the lift done to the first floor, but the conversation he claims he had with Eddie Piper, Piper can't remember.
His out of character action of returning to work early, his laughable reason for not watching the parade (clearly didn't remember windows existed).
If Oswald had have reported hearing a noise, travelled all the way to the first floor, been told that the President was shot, then went back to work by himself, LNers would take it as clear evidence that he was the shooter.

That's easily explainable.... There was no "Oswald flight". Lee was on the first floor at the time the President passed by the TSBD.

Perhaps Duncan will post the photo ( video clip) of a "big husky fellow" who was on the sixth floor and very near the location where the rifle was discovered.
I believe the video was taken BEFORE the rifle was discovered......

The detective talking to Fritz is Gerald Hill.......
The camera is pointed north in the NW corner of the 6th floor....The west elevator gate is visible and the window in the north wall is also visible....
I'm having a problem trying to place the boxes by comparing with the DP photos in 1st Day Evidence.....I believe the boxes are the tall stack of boxes that were stacked near the top of the stairs about four feet west of the NW pillar.

My point is misleading it seems. I didn't mean her looks; I meant the fact that she switched from first believing Oswald guilty, to innocent in later years. The discussion should be about whether or not she might have been directly influenced by those with a vested interest in persuading her to modify her opinion.
Sorry about that, but until now I just took an 'oh, well' attitude (when I found no one addressing my intended point AFAIR) since these threads often veer off topic eventually.

Exactly. Marina was blatantly lying about how many BY photos she took. While she's still alive someone needs to interview her and ask whether any men in suits came by and took any of those pictures that she obviously didn't. Plus what kind of pressure they put on her to clam up.

We may never know for sure but Dougherty was discharged from the military for medical reasons. His father told the FBI that he "had considerable difficulty in coordinating his mental faculties with his speech." Jack Dougherty told the WC that the FBI misquoted him in his affidavit as he never said the noise that he heard (a gun shot) came from the floor above him (6th floor). He had said it sounded like a backfire from outside.
Dougherty's father was at the affidavit, but the WC never questioned him. Why?

Rachel Oswald Porter, daughter of Lee Harvey Oswald spoke on her feelings about her real father. Rachel is about 56 now.
This interview when she was 28 starts @ 5:40 but pay attention to 9:00 onward
